bunglebus
I tracked down the smiley Scorp, I knew there was a MK3 Granny there too but assumed it was in use. Big hole in the sill says not, but it's a nice looking car. The one thought to be hidden in the bushes was in fact just parked behind them 20191016_101100 by RS, on Flickr 20191016_101112 by RS, on Flickr Also found these; 20191016_113721 by RS, on Flickr 20191016_114105 by RS, on Flickr On SORN - I used to own E136GWC which was also white and VAG - a VW panel van. AnthonyG
I imagine getting that XK8 back on the road would bring new meaning to the phrase ‘a world of pain’!!! Lord Sterling
2 today in Halesowen; Honda Accord has boxes in the back and front as if its being used as a shed. Ford Focus. Been here for a while. Pic makes the car look a bit squashed but its how I took the pic on a stealth one as the road is a main road and overlooked easily. worldofceri and mrbenn

I'd have suggested it being prepared to put back on road but MOT since May and still no tax, they've either run out of money or time or the MOT is a telephone MOT. Strange though. mrbenn
mrbenn
Looks like the owner is lucky they haven't been done for no tax, with it being so visible from a main road. I agree, there must be some sort of idea of doing something with it for it to have it's first MOT in so long. Interestingly*, it had done 110k at it's first MOT, then another 80k over the next two years. 180k at 5 years old is good going. Only advisory for corrosion is on the most recent test, which doesn't surprise me given it has sat for years. I've seen a number of high mileage mk1 Focuseses with very little rust on them, whereas low mileage cars that have sat around seem to suffer more. Supernaut
This Rover 75 has been sitting unloved behind a church hall for a good while now. Notice the flat tyre, the exhaust dangling down and the greenery growing on it. Street parked for a good few months, now. This 1 series has been in a scrape and dumped. Just a few car lengths along, this Astra. No MOT for 18 months now, flat rear tyre and bald front tyres. Split_Pin and worldofceri
