Stop trying to rationalise this. Its unfair, unnecessary and very cruel.

Ah well, pity it wasn't around at end of month then I would have gone through with my plan to take it off his hands but just glad it was saved. Tis a nice looking thing and no mistake.

I will eagerly keep an eye out for your pending for sails thread.

PS.

That's just my own way of talking myself out of it. I'm getting married in 14 days. It wouldn't be a good start to married life...

Mr WilsonWilson, that car is lovely and well done on rescuing it. Can I ask a boring practical question. As you sometimes seem to own a car for a short amount of time can I ask how you insure it? Also, do you send the v5 off? I seem to get stuck with cars for a long time but would be tempted to run around in something for less if I could sort these problems out, especially the insurance issue.

I always take out a private insurance policy on a new car which is then cancelled at when sold.  Usually at a financial loss.

V5 is always completed and transfered into my name as I never know how long I will be keeping a car.  They can always be filled in and dated to the date of sale if I find that a car must be sold.

Are Honda dealers that expensive?

The more I look at this car the more I think you've bagged yourself a very nice luxury autoshite motor. How much would it have cost if it was of German origin?

It's funny you mention the L word. I'm genuinely surprised at the level of opulence and luxury that it oozes. Japanese cars are usually good, but this car is definitely a step up. I've only say in the passenger seat but it feels far more high class and better put together than either of the posh Mercs or dare I say it even the XJ40 I had. Very probably because it's a newer car I will concede, but it's an amazing amount of car for train ticket money.

 just glad it was saved.

You'd only weigh it in when you needed 80 quid anyway so what does it matter if it was saved?

I had a long, hard think about this, then, like a big fanny, decided a round trip dooable in a day at a relatively minimal cost was too inconvenient.

Can YOU spot it? Have YOU so little to do on a Friday night that you're willing to watch two minutes of dash cam footage of a tedious drive with very little of interest in either the geographical or automotive surroundings?

Seats on these are the most comfy of evah and they do feel a proper classy car when your driving it.

As long as the Auto box is in good nick it will go on for ever, have a look underneath at some point an I'd imagine you will not see a spot of rust.

They do look better with the Honda spoiler on it, yours does look like a tidy one.

Boot is feckin massive for a Coupe as well and you can fit 2 normal human sized objects in the back seats with ease.
