Mally
I have stuff everywhere. This was on top of the first pile I checked. You won't believe how long it takes me to post a photo. No 46, I was leading for a while until the engine left it's mountings. Must have rolled over in the second photo. chaseracer and Jim Bell 1

Split_Pin
Cheers for this one, just about every type covered there. My favourites are the Metro-Scanias, supposedly very fast, thirsty and definitely rusty and the Alexander bodied.Atlanteans. Glasgow operators have been home to a fair few of the buses pictured over the years . After the Strathclyde's Buses Larkfield Depot fire in May 1992 where around 50 buses were destroyed, some of the Alexander bodied Atlanteans were replaced with very similar looking ones from Newcastle. Much later, in the early 2000s, Magic Bus, the Low Cost* arm of Stagecoach, operated some C-LFT Olympians. Most had the pneumatic HELP front bumper removed. Blake's Den
That was a big bus dump! Good to see a Leyland National at the Metrocentre bus station. That brings back memories of the 1990's. True strory - I once attended a 'bus rally' at the Metrocentre coach park. I was disappointed to find that they were static displays and not sliding around like mk2 Escorts!! To be fair, I was only 6. I remember buying a big Leyland 'plug hole of doom' badge, I've still got it up in my garage. busmansholiday
Some cracking pics there, the Trolleybus was my favourite but good to see some of the stuff they borrowed during the vehicle shortage (Bournemouth Atlantean). Remember going there to ride on the ex Leeds Regents they acquired (just spotted one in the background to a pic) then getting off one of those straight onto a new Metropolitan decker. Oh happy days !! Jim Bell and LightBulbFun

Eyersey1234
When I first started at work our training buses were Alexander PS bodied Volvo B10Ms, we had about 4 or 5 in service as well. Excellent buses, went like fuck and very reliable. Mind you we had some Optare Excels at the same time that were utter shit, forever breaking down and bits falling off them Jim Bell

Many happy memories of going there on a Sunday morning past the tank parked outside of Vickers. tooSavvy and Jim Bell 1
