Jim Bell
It seems like these are all the rage on Autoshite at the moment, so I thought I would get in on the action. Spied on on the old ebay and decided to have a gamble/grumble/ramble. It was only 20 miles away in posh Darras Hall. Where Alan Shearer lives. Its on 66 thousand miles, with a stamped Fistory to 56 thousand miles (in 2012). Its a 1.1 petrol with 4 forward and 1 reverse gear. Its got a sunroof. Thats about it. No PAS, manual everything else. Has just had new track rod ends and has a full MOT. The collection was without incident and the Mrs drove the Rover home. MONEY: After putting a thimble full of Pez in and shooting some air in the tyres (its been sat a while), it was off onto the open road.. Full speed ahead! Gets along well enough for a little lump. loserone, Skizzer, vulgalour and 14 others

Jim Bell
Cheers everyone. I hate it to be honest. The pedals are all very close together, and I have size 12 and a half feet. Dunno what I was thinking. Should have done a bit of research before buying one! Most likely try and persevere with is for a bit, then give up and sell it. The Moog
Ooof love a massive clock in the dash. If I am not the lucky* winnah on raffles may be tempted by this when you give up on it. Would make a lovely car to run to work and back

EssDeeWon
When there is bugger all on TV why not pop out and pick up an AX? Genuine low miler with FSH, and from near Shearers Gaff. I see some serious profit in this one. And the plate is worth £££ cos it says WAJ, private innit. cobblers
This no revcounter bollocks always amused me, the massive clock cost almost exactly the same as the revcounter would have to make. I've never seen anything with blanking panels over airvens before though, that's impressive mingebaggery. That wine bottle holder is fantastic though, I thought it was a myth! Six-cylinder
That wine bottle holder is fantastic though, I thought it was a myth! Best part of the car the wine bottle holders. I went to the UK dealer launch in 1987 at the NEC, sea of brand new white AXs for the dealer demonstrators and all the cars were prepared for the dealers to take them home with sparkling wine in the door pockets. I think our MD took ours! Jim Bell
