Talbot
a hub/gear puller for removing the crankshaft pulley/harmonic balancer to get at the bottom of the cambelt. Yes I have one. No, I have no idea where it is. How soon/urgent is this need? It's a decent 3-leg puller with a fairly fine thread on it, so pulls very squarely and evenly so will probably be ideal. I will look for it this evening and post up again. As for the general tools available, I am happy to lend out (assuming they are not already in use: Big Cebora welder (as big as you can go on a 13A plug.. really needs a 16A supply for max current work) Tig welder. Compressors. Plasma cutter Ultrasonic parts washer 2 tonne engine crane. Trolly jacks and axle stands as necessary. Car transporter trailer (bit narrow though.. some big moderns are too wide) And all manner of other tools I've accumulated over the years. Too many to list (or indeed fit in my shed) catsinthewelder
Stanky
Thanks! No urgent need - I have none of the parts I need yet so it'll be mid-July before I've got them ordered, delivered and have time off to undertake the work? If you do have one that I can borrow I'd be most grateful.
