Conrad D. Conelrad
Those wheels still look damn good, especially considering the conditions I painted them in. I do feel guilty for not doing anything about the arches, I think they rotted quite a bit during the year I had it. Jim Bell
They are indeed baring up well. Considering you painted them in a tropical monsoon! Look at the size of those rainbombs hitting the road! Junkman
Junkman
At least you don't get any dust particles into the paint when painting in this kind of climate. anonymous user and Jim Bell

phil_lihp
That looks ace and very tidy for its age despite a slightly crinkly bottom, especially with the bumpers done. I was genuinely disappointed not to win that auction, it's definitely gone to the right home though. Junkman, Jim Bell and brickwall

Vince70
If you have any linseed over its worth coating a bit underneath the colt as it also works as a wax oil.. I tried some underneath the sills on my fathers car about six months ago and it's still holding back the rot.. Apparently it was used years ago as a form of rust proofing on cars. oldcars and Jim Bell

Jim Bell
Oh dear. In the greatest tradition of Autoshite, I have just accidentally purchased something on the Ebay.Which needs to be collected on Thursday. Much as the Colt is a great little car, I'm just a bit big for it. Its not you, its me. And my long legs. And massive head. Too big. So, it is now back up for rofflez. Ex Junkman and Conrad bike. Only available to Shitters. Since I have had it, its had a CV boot, linseed oil on the bumpers, air in the tyres, new oil, a tape player (Alpine, from Hertz), an MOT and a brand new air freshner. I would drive it anywhere and it will come with a full tank of petrol, as it was when I collected it from Conrad. Conrads FS thread is seen here: http://autoshite.com/topic/21268-raffle-mitsubishi-colt-draw-tonight-believe-in-dreams/ The car is as described in his thread, though slightly improved. (full mot, no advisories etc) Taking into consideration the new MOT and IMPROVEMENTS, I'm looking at £6.66 a number (as the total comes out at what I've just spent on an Ebay punt) Car is located in NE England. Near France and Aberdeen by way of roads, planes and trains. oldcars and Conrad D. Conelrad
