Challenge, celebrity/famous in shite...

Recommended Posts

Well here's a challenge to keep you surfing google images for hours.  Would a celebrity or well known famous figure be caught behind the wheel of some Autoshite 'back in the day' or now.

I posted a similar photo in the black and white thread, but I'll kick off with Di's miniMetro!  see what you can find:-)

Rowan Atkinson had a Lancia Dedra back when Lancias were still sold in the UK, as seen in this rubbish screenshot from his excellent 1990 documentary, "The Driven Man":

I have no photographic evidence but I'm sure I read that BRIAN BLESSED had a clapped out Citroen Xantia.

in order for this to be declared and accepted as truth, you must fish with the word "FACT".

I know he used to keep a succession of old and rotten 4x4s (I think they were Troopers?)

I love Brian Blessed - have done a couple of jobs with him. Totally mental and a really great bloke. Loves to tell stories, usually about telling people in some form of authority that they're cunts.

The last job I did with him, he was struggling to get down the stairs to the studio we were using. I asked him if he needed a hand, to which he said "Nono, I'm fine. It's the fucking knees. Been training to go up fucking Everest again...Big fucking mountain that."

The man is 78.

Wendy Craig (Butterflies et al) had a Mk1 Modeo Estate in the mid nineties. 'FACT'

I was working at Lookers Ford (Kidderminster)  - she came in a bought a wheel trim (which I fitted) after losing one on her way to an outdoor play at Ludlow Castle. Friend to the stars, me.

Can't find a picture though.

Haha that's like the legend that LULU had a Matra Rancho and trashed it on the M25.  The later part I believe is true but never found evidence of the Rancho.
