andy18s Posted July 20, 2015 Share Posted July 20, 2015 Just spent a nice enough hour and a half wandering what's left of the mighty Furber empireIt seems they have been on the edge of bankruptcy for a while,and selling off as much stock as possible We got a whisper last night that it's all closing next month and they are having a final push to clear as much as they canSo the Mrs and I took a run up there to have a poke aboutTo start with all the bikes have gone. Gone as in all put into a bailer and crushed........We only had time to look around 1 of the many sheds that have been opened to Joe Public,and to be honest there's not much stuff in there off any interest unless you like looking at piles of plastic headlights and bumpersWe took a few pics then had a wander around 1 of the yards still holding cars We were told that this is the remains of a Marina diesel....... And this shed held cars that weren't to be sold Most of the decent stuff has been picked by the receiver's appointed auctioneers,and an auction is being held on August 8th to clear the last of the vehicles onlyNo panels or stuff will be auctioned off and what's left will be crushed Autoshite Massive Meet ??? Only one other survivor in that colour scheme to my knowledge!
