danthecapriman
That is absolutely stunning. It could easily have just rolled off the assembly line, in fact I'd say it's even better than that.Top work and good luck on the MOT, not that you'll be needing any luck of course! vulgalour
I had a dim light on the Renault and it was both a dirty connector and a duff earth point. Once those were resolved, the light was normal again. purplebargeken

4wheeledstool
I've said it before but I'll say it again - what a fantastic piece of work and the speed and care you've taken have made it *this* good - good job sir and good luck for tomorrow's MOT!! Many thanks! That looks absolutely fucking amazing! If there is no MOT pass forthcoming then there is something badly wrong in the world. Cheers Ken!Headlight? Bulb or shit earth surely? It was just a weak earth. That is absolutely stunning. It could easily have just rolled off the assembly line, in fact I'd say it's even better than that.Top work and good luck on the MOT, not that you'll be needing any luck of course! Thank you kindly Dan! That's wonderful. Great job! Thanks very muchly Mr. Ghosty! I had a dim light on the Renault and it was both a dirty connector and a duff earth point. Once those were resolved, the light was normal again.I've just run another earth wire as a temporary measure, it would seem that there is a weak point in the earth wire in the headlight loom. I can sort it out at my leisure now. Had a quick look about the car this morning, then booked an MOT. I had plenty of time before I needed to be there, so re fitted the tank cover. Then did something I've never done before - tyre shine! Waiting for MOT Job's a good 'un! A most excellent experience - the MOT guy wasn't the usual tester, but was a top bloke anyway. Car seen here outside my gaff after a most enjoyable drive home. Done about 30 miles this afternoon, and nothing has fallen off yet. phil_lihp, dollywobbler, outlaw118 and 30 others

What's next? Lots to do, starting with a Lambretta I've owned since 1989. I've been threatening to re do this for years - the last time it had a makeover was 1993. Of course, if someone sold me a Rancho, that would definitely be next. Dick Longbridge, Ghosty, Cavcraft and 4 others
