Greek Island Shitorama

Recommended Posts

No photos because I was on the bus to the hotel however the tat is strong here in Zakanythos.

On the short trip from the airport I saw 2 Alfa Romeo 33s, a Seat Fura, 81 to 86 Mazda 626 and a Marina Pickup, all apparently still in use.

As I sit awaiting the final part of my Creatan holiday, the trip to the airport and a flying machine home, let's look at some Greek shite.

My current view,

These have been parked opposite regularly.

And these just around the corner.

^^^ A Kreidler Florett from the 60's to 70's. Very popular on the Continent due to their 'reliability' and 'build quality' compared to their contemporaries. Unfortunately for them the Japanese had a very different idea about reliability and build quality and Kreidler (along with most other moped only European manufacturers) went to the wall.

Same Merc A-class and motorbike next to the Kos Highandry...

Time passes slowly in Greece, they still haven't managed to repair the harbour wall, damaged by the earthquake in 2017 where thousands of tourists stumble every day so shifting your car to a different parking spot?
