The lada has miraculously fixed itself, I went to it today and it started up and drove fine with no issues, I think last time we were out in it, it was a combination of flooding it when it was warm and also some of the ignition system being soaked in water having splashed through a large puddle.
I hope that's it because now I'll be afraid to use it in case it does it again. 33738be1c0de8aba220faadfd52c0f58.jpg

How on earth did you find that for £300?, I had one of these briefly, gonna have to get another before prices go up.
It all started with Derskines 305 that was due to be roffled, it wasn't selling out very quickly on the forum so was put on Facebook where it sold out almost instantly.
A friend had enquired about swapping his 190e for the 305 but as most of the money had been collected for the roffle I had to turn him away.
The roffle went ahead on Saturday and Derskine informed me that the winner had planned on banger racing it.
I was a shocked that it might be meeting an untimely end on the oval especially since I knew there was a good home out there for it so I offered the banger racer £300 to forget about winning the 305 then I swapped it for the 190e.
The 190e was actually up for sale for £1200...

I'd been wanting a Henry for the garage for a while but couldn't justify buying a brand new one for it to most likely be wrecked/neglected so bought a second hand one for £60. A week later I spotted a wet and dry Charles for £40.
Both seem to work quite well.

I managed to get a look at the 190 in daylight, it's not bad.

I'm not driving it at the moment because it needs a blower motor fitted which has just arrived in the post, driving a car at this time of year with no blowers isn't much fun especially a 190 which seems to steam up quite easily, the other 190's I had before also seemed to steam up...

I spotted a Micra for sale on the tat thread and having just sold the Charade I thought I'd go for a look yesterday.

It was a little bit snowy outside so thought it best to take something capable.

I had a look at the Micra so handed over the cash then collected it later at night.

It drives well with no issues but I'd really like to get a standard steering wheel back on there.

Is steaming up a Merc thing? My W176 A class does it too, Aircon in winter!
