Zelandeth
Okay, that's the first time I've seen a Mondeo that colour since 1995. There was one which used to be parked in the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary car park every day when my father was badly I'll that summer... remember first spotting it from the window five floors up... It's clearly visible in several period aerial photos they have in some of the meeting rooms too.
brownnova
‘Tis the winter, so the pickings are slim... But a few spots are spotted so here’s my last update of 2019. Went to an MX5 meet and saw a Saab 9000! That’s the camera at full zoom! It snowed so I went to The Horseshoe Pass... so did the owner of this Marcos! Not sure which will rot faster, my MX5 or the Marcos... On the A55 a Stag being used through winter! Driving along one day the road was so inconsideratly blocked by a yellow beauty! A slightly more modern and a lot more grubby offering next... And finalment... A cheat really, but my 2CV club and I driving through the stunning scenery of North Wales to finish. Lovely lovely times!! Wonder if I’ll spot any shite driving home for Christmas...? Skizzer, RobT, chaseracer and 1 other

brownnova
I lied!! Room for another brief update following Christmas spottings! Journeys near and far have resulted in these fine vehicles which are still (mostly) being used despite the salt on the roads... Saw this lovely looking Rover 100 out and about. MoT history suggests it might not be as lovely as it appears on the surface! Nice to have two R-reg cars in a row though On the M42 a Golf! Bonus points for HubNut sticker. Acadianne spotted in Stratford. Think I’ve featured it before but hey ho. A GGG plated Land Rover. Saw this a couple of times this weekend so clearly still in active service in Wootton Wowen. And the top spot? Well my sister in law comes from a farming background. And she was saying how her dad never gets rid of anything. Then she mentioned something about a Gipsy... Do you mean an Austin Gipsy? Yes an Austin Gipsy is residing in a barn. The owner will never part with it apparently... Skizzer
Just caught up with this thread, I’d fallen behind - some stonkingly good spots going on! That turmeric SD1 is a corker, but the Marcos is properly stunning. brownnova
brownnova
January’s spotting update! Seen a fair bit of chod out and about this month. Mostly whilst driving so no photos. But... 3 door Rangie. Dilapidated and festering away on a farm... An old Austin truck, this has probably gone too far to save now. Beautiful in its own way. Posted a far away shot further up but saw it close up. Mine looks lovely in comparison! In the petrol station this was parked on the double yellows... it was for sale. Someone bought a Rover to a Mazda meet... This Ford Popular was in the 50s museum. On the road in as found condition... Fire... I take you to burn... Ironic touch for a museum which burnt down a few years ago... A Maestro in Caernarfon.... closer inspection.... Its fucked. Ford Probe in the Welsh mountains. And wait, what, another Rover 600.... Blurry Volvo 440 And saving the worst til last... I tried to snap an Escort on a truck... but I was driving so I missed... Happy spotting!!! brownnova
Last weekend I went off to a cars and coffee event at Trac Môn (Anglesey Circuit). In order to rev up interest on their track days they had put on a cars and coffee type event whilst a track day was in progress. Having the 11 year old and a mate in tow (plus high winds from the beginning of Ciara’s stormy passage) we opted for the Saaaaaab Some fascinating stuff kicking around including this boat builders Minor: Mini Clubman Purple Ronnie edition Festa Now I know it’s modern but... this chap had balls of steel. He was belting it round the track! Tina from SClub7 The blue one was on track later: This 405 looked lovely! 911... 2 prizes: Most fun had goes to this Beemer who slid round every corner and showed absolutely no fear! Most Shite car... Skizzer, Vantman, LightBulbFun and 3 others
brownnova
To round off vehicles spotted in the month of February.... ‘Twas scan date for the bairn... my day had already been made by this 205 On the way home from February’s Cannock... I spied this tired looking 800 Boatshite this one, but this decaying scene is just up the road from me. Oh wait... another 205? Common as muck round here... Moving Swiftly on... Carina virus... In scotchland a Saab was spotted through Pret a Mange’s window Galaxy Quest... Viva Las Cheshire... More follows.. when I spot them! brownnova
Lockdown time.... and the spitting ain’t easy... On my local only walks about I haven’t spotted much new chod... I knew where most of it was, and not much had presented itself to me... but... No not Corona... Carina! And a Carina E at that! @Mrsbrownnova gets full credit for this Reliant-tastic spot. A shonky swede in Nantwich An adorable Accord in Flintshire Two Languid Land Rovers in a field A marvellous Maestro in Mostyn. A miserable Micra in Prestatyn A mothballed MG in Gronant A covered Calibra in Flintshire A mouldy Morris (I think- pre war is not my specialty) across the road from the Calibra! And a rip roaring Rover in Holywell to complete the set! Happy spotting all!!! Shite Ron, danthecapriman, Cord Fourteener and 6 others

brownnova
Well hello there spot fans... time to update the spotted files. Beginning with a Spitfire, sadly don’t think it’ll be flying pest any time soon... Mini in all of the brown... Jaaaaaaaaaaaaag V12 Not a Jag, but a Daimler.... some kind of estate monstrosity which I would 100% hate on my driveway. A rising Star(let) Double Merc-a-clock My 9000 found a friend Carlton GSI no less... A Pisshat... And a Renner 5 i papped in the way home from the FoD... and it’s for sale! In the middle of Buxton some old giffer parked this in the middle of the high street... no shits were given... How about a bit of Bondage... Chasing a Messerschmitt... (yes this is a really shit photo) The following day, in the exact same place I saw a convoy of Bond Bugs... But was sadly driving so could not pap them... But continuing on the Bond theme... A pug in a field car park... And finally three Saab’s all spotted within 5 miles of each other... I think the last one is one I’ve papped before... More to follow... danthecapriman, MorrisItalSLX, Cavcraft and 3 others
Cavcraft
That owner of that Citrine Mondeo must work around the area (Greyhound Park) as it's pretty much always about. *Edit: those Bonds came through Chester on Saturday, grabbed a couple of poor pictures on my phone. There were a number of classic cars about actually, assume there was a show or meeting somewhere locally.
bunglebus
That Daimler is epic - and how much was the 5 Campus?

brownnova
Bonus spots from @Mrsbrownnova‘s phone.... A Javelin.... just throwing it out there... I’d love one of these! Cortina trap.... brownnova
What with lockdown and all that jazz spots have been fewer and further between... but here is the winter/spring anthology: Back to September and West Kirby and a lovely MGB But just a little up the road things improved! A lovely (if overpriced) Dyane!! Next, another French beauty: And keeping the French theme... But that one’s slightly cheating as it was a 2CV run... ahhh September where meet ups were permitted and the cars roamed free... And now to an essential shop... and an E30! More essential shopping revealed this Volvo: And indulge me on this one, but I thought it looked a lovely example of an early Lupo... something you don’t often see any more: A 9000 spotted near Rhyl (but not in Rhyl... or I’d be admitting going to Rhyl) As the lockdown bit harder the spots became less.... I had to resort to walking to get spots... And then this appeared! Gorgeous! During the Pontiac‘S MoT retest Russ showed up.. And tonight (and what inspired me to post spots) I saw this Calibra!!! brownnova
Some spots on the way home from the Shitesteddfod! I spied the Honda and the Minor through the fence as I drove, so pulled over for a quick look... Some previous spots too... A Kenari!!!! A Festa, viewed over a Fence... Pair of Polos with holes... Another Minor And an H van in a sadly typical scene... barrett, Vantman, adw1977 and 6 others
