I'm surprised given all the replica vintage stickers/tax holders etc available on eBay you can't get some of these...

I love the Hoverspeed but this is the honey and the one I want on the Allegro... preferably incorporating the mirrored BR logo....

...there doesn't seem to be any old ones kicking about on ebay either, so is there a market to try get some of these knocked up? (not that I have the faintest idea where and how to start).

I'd be interested, were they for sale :)  In the '80s, in Sussex (where I grew up), Sealink seemed to be the favoured option.  I remember seeing loads of the top ones, although that might have been the '90s by then.

A Townsend Thoresen one might not be entirely politically correct.

Hence I want one.

I have one on my R4. Old red R4 had one as well.

Tbh it didn't bother anyone, even the people at Dover harbour liked it "bloody hell, not seen a Townsend sticker in years" etc.  TT were in general a very popular company prior to the Herald and everyone who commented seemed pleased to see it.

I've got a spare one somewhere so when I get round to buying a scanner I can scan it (and a few others) if anyone wants copies.

Yes! Do it.

Also, I'll have a look through what I have later as I may* have hoovered a few old GB stickers up from ebay a while back!

Funnily enough, I'd been thinking about this after seeing this thread on Trucknet...http://www.trucknetuk.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=28271

And the image of the TT GB sticker in particular...It would look ace on the back of my MK1 Panda...I would deffo buy an early Sealink one too...

Ok folks, a bit of patient eBaying using their excellent search alert function has allowed me to steadily collect these over the past few months. Chuffed to get the Townsend Thoresen this week but mainly loving the Sealink one - Look at the size of it!

Planning to get some duplicates run off in the new year, so if any shitters see something they want a copy of reply here and I'll advise as and when.

EDIT - No Hoverspeed as I don't have one to replicate - just what is here

Make sure you take out TT's Europ Assistance, just in case of any mishap:

Seen on this Hiace, but regrettably when photographed this year it seems to have been resprayed and the two GB ovals have gone :-(
