The Rolls Royce came out of storage today and to get it out I had to move the Peugeot 404 that started with a jump. I also needed to move the Renault 4, but the knob to open the bonnet feels loose and is not opening the catch, anybody know how to get the bonnet open? Because I could not move the Renault 4 I moved thed Citroen DS instead and it started fine with a jump. The Rolls Royce would not start and I diagnosed petrol, took the top off the vacuum fuel pump to find it was dry. I then took the DS for a ride home to collect a can of petrol. I put a couple of Litres of petrol in the pump reservoir and it started, then I could here the vac pump working.
