Matty
But on the few things (admittedly bikes) that I've rebuilt you'd put a new loom in anyway. Cos if the rest of it is fucked, why skimp on the one thing that's more than likely to set it a fire?

Saabnut
Is it wrong that on my recent road trip in France I saw this and instantly thought of this thread! At the St Saturnin Classic British Welcome (a huge 1000+ classic car show held near Lemans on the Friday before the 24 hour race) this fine* example of automotive excellence* caught my attention. At first glance it is a standard 1969 MGB roadster fitted with a hard top: But look closely at the header rail above the windscreen - it is missing! It would appear to be buried in wob. The wobfest continued all around the hard top, it would appear to have been fitted then sealed on with wob and a rattle can of the same shite silver paint as the rest of the car Described as mechanically perfect, it had good chrome and nice wheels. How much for this automotive masterpiece? A grand? Maybe 1300 quid? No. Thirteen THOUSAND fucking euros! I have left the phone number on should you be tempted! shoddybanger, michael t, mitsisigma01 and 6 others 5

Yoss
Not just the top of the windscreen, the whole windscreen surround has been plastered in to place! If you ever needed to change the windscreen you'd have to go round the edge with a hammer and chisel first. michael t

busmansholiday
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201908181265860? This car has no MOT and had a broken transmission. The car failed it’s MOT due to a drive shaft that needs replacing and a hand break cable.
