Series with slightly worse* than average chassis.

Other pics are rusty autojumble shite, and a 2 1/4 block that's been out in the rain for 20 years. What a bag of wank.

Believe it or not but thats actually not a bad restoration project although its probably worth more like £1500 - £2000 in that condition.  All you need is the roof and the tops of the rear sides and the rest can and probably would be replaced on a full restoration.    Have a look at what this guy is doing that gives some idea of what condition people are prepared to restore these in. https://www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/topic/352061-1966-mini-van-the-rustiest-one-yet/

If it was a pickup then it would probably sell for £3,000 as the are really rare and tend to command high prices.

If I had the money and space I would but i'm upto my ears at the moment with a frogeye sprite and have a 1965 mini estate to do after that.  Back when I was young and panels weren't as available I chopped up a mini van that was quite good but had side windows cut into it so at the time wasn't worth much and used the floor and load bed to fix a mini pickup.

These are the only pictures I have of it:

This is what it looked like when finished.

I also shortened a mini around the same time.

The difference between yeah, nah, call the scrap man and a viable project is - are new panels available? Pattern parts, NOS, reproductions, whatever?

If yes, and you’re good with sparky stick, it’s doable. If not, I met a guy who’s as close to real life metal shaping wizard as it gets, and would still be able to do it, but that would be big money thing.

The Zagato bits are unobtainium. If it was a standard coupe then pretty much everything is available as a repro panel but even then you'd have to be committed to do it yourself as a labour of love.

Seeing this horror like this reminds me of the time a 14 year old me eagerly went home at full speed after a mate gave me a plastic bag full of porno mags and the bottom of the bag split just as I walked in through the front door in front of my mum!

A "Rare now" £500

The advert states he 'will break' it.  One assumes he shall accomplish the task by standing next to the car and sneezing in its general direction.

Imagine the shame if you'd come home with a Maestro instead

Which, funnily enough is the noise the engine makes when the valve seats burn out.
