SAIPA 151 is a small pickup built on X100 platform that is compatible with Euro IV standards and provide 71 horse power.

This pickup which is called KARA and it literary means "capable" is suitable for urban light fright transport; Kara is able to carry maximum 500 kg of load. Ergonomic and comfortable seats and air-conditioner are among its convenient features.

Awesome.

Based on the Hillman Avenger?

Yes, Avengers were built in Argentina by Chrysler as the Dodge 1500 in the 70s. VW took over Chrysler's Argentinian factory in 1980 and decided to keep it going as a VW-badged model. There were still a lot of Dodge 1500s (not so many VW 1500s) around in Buenos Aires when I was there twelve years ago.

Here's a new one on me - Perodua D55L SUV.

NEW CARS TO ME ALERT

Which led me to some investigations, and, surprise surprise, it's based on Daihatsu's New Global Architecture (DNGA), as well as the Perodua there is the original Daihatsu Rocky.

Tokyo 2019: Daihatsu previews new compact SUV - is this an early look at Perodua's D55L B-segment SUV? - paultan.org

Which is also going to be flogged, by the parent company, as the apparently very light, helium filled, Toyota Raize (see what they've done there?).

Which style do you want? The Advanced Blast or Elegant Ice?

Toyota Raize gets leaked ahead of November 5 debut – sibling to Daihatsu’s B-segment compact SUV Image #1035929

And the Perodua's rival? The Proton X70 and it doesn't end here, here's another new one, the X70 is a badge engineered Geely Boyue

2020 Proton X70 CKD, here's why the Geely Boyue Pro is not for Malaysia | Wapcar

What's this, an MX5 that looks like a Corvette? Aye, it is a Mitsuoka.

Called the 'rock star'!

That looks pretty good, but the rear quarter looks to be untidy. I was just thinking how much like a Stingray that Capri concept was.

Very Gerry Anderson-esque, if Thunderbird 4 was a car.

Looks better in garish yellow !!
