Good afternoon guys,

Some months back I secured a deal with Luke (R9UKE) on his R25 Monaco and yesterday he received the rest of the payment owing. With ferrys being extortionate at this time of year i'll be bringing it over in January next year but its going on a little Irish adventure first, going down to Dublin for a car meet on the 22nd of November, then down to a mates house in Rosslare (near the harbour) where I will then get it ferried back to me from at some point.

I was looking at this whilst holding a super-glue repair to the Visa's rear bulb holder in place with my left hand whilst using the mouse with my right hand. After watching the video I went to move my right arm and it had stuck to a magazine on my desk where some glue had leaked.

Other than that, this is great.

I really like the look of the Renault 25. I think they're very underrated, particularly inside. That dash! Those seats!

Perfect colour too. I really like the headlights the V6 versions had. And the 25 is so much smoother than an Audi 100 too  - it's just that Renault made less of a song and dance about it. With a drag coefficient of 0.25 it must barely make a swishing noise as it slices through the air at ninety! Lovely car!

I once had the pleasure of driving a new Renault 25, I'd booked a hire car to travel to that London and specified an automatic. Godfrey Davies kindly upgraded me to the Renault as the booked Rover 216 was unavailable. I remember marvelling at all the toys on it at the time, it was the future (well compared to the 1937 Morgan I was driving at the time anything was).

Fuck that is lovely.

My Dad had one when I was about 3/4 years old. The fuel gauge never worked, but I was always amazed (still am, tbh) that he never ran out of petrol. He'd only stick £20 a week in it and that'd be enough for him.

For those that know Huddersfield, there was an automatic one of these always parked on John William street between 'Spoons and Coffee Evolution about 15 years ago. I remember thinking it was literally the most beautiful car I had ever seen, gaping rust hole big enough to put your fist through in the NSF wing did nothing to detract from that. To this day I have not seen another Monaco in the wild. One day, probably around 2007, a For Sale sign appeared in it, they only wanted £650 for it, but the insurance quote was terrifying. According to HowManyLeft, the auto Monaco went extinct around 2012 so it didn't last long in the big wide world! Would like to think it is mothballed in a garage somewhere....
