richardmorris
Lack of headlamp washer omfgshock puts off all autoshiters Mine has headlamp washers, but they're seized solid. I took one apart to clean up and got it working again - all the time; it wouldn't stop! Unplugged it and now they're decorative. Jim Bell
Well, further harsh realities have dawned, forcing me into world wide internet advertising: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141444356213?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1586.l2649#ht_2722wt_1142 This will not go well. richardmorris
That's not even run in yet! So they say - it's now done 20,000miles since I bought it in March 2012. Not totally trouble-free but rather fun and effortlessly.

Jim Bell
Seems I have overpaid for and then subsiquently overpriced this car. Anyone that fancies it and is put off by the price, feel free to make a derisory offer. Shes got a full tank of juice and will drive anywhere. Cheers all. nacho man
I have been trying to get my old man to buy this but he is a picky sod and doesn't like travelling to view cars and I still think he believes the internet does not exist, so any pictures of said car are not of said car and he would turn up and be sold a vhs player or summat. Anyhow its lovely and a BARGAIN. drum

dollywobbler
It's too good for Autoshite. That's the problem. Have you tried on the W124 forum? A nice CE is a sought-after machine. Sadly here, we're more into snotters. Wackeldackel
purplebargeken
Just reminded myself re: what this car looks like. Fuggin lovely. Deep sigh. I have never had a Merc. Not really likely to either unless you wantz MGF and a Rover 75 swaparoo. Twoferone AS mega-deal.
Jim Bell
I couldn't find a need for both Ken I'm afraid. I'll certainly have the F though, if someone takes the Merc.
purplebargeken
Take the bloody Merc someone, just take it FFS Seriously, it looks the bollocks, it really does. God knows how it didn't sell here or on ebay. As suggested, try the marque-orientated forums perhaps.
Guest Lord Sward
I've had 2, both estates, one 4-pot, the other a 6-pot. I killed them both. But I could see me wafting around New York (Shiremoor) in that.
Skizzer
I feel quite bad, because I like everything about this car and think it's a very fair price. But I've got seven cars at the moment and space for three, so I'm not going to buy it off you. Someone somewhere must want it though - keep trying? Jim Bell
I shall keep trying indeed Skizz, cheers for the positive comments everyone. I do fancy PBKs mid engined english sports car, so if anyone does fancy making an offer, I am currently all ears.

loserone
The Mrs does, if it has PAS and metal sills/front cross-member.It does, but it turns out I was right to be fearful. Something about how many "empty 'G's" it gets and a daily drive to Hartlepool and back. I'd say it was the thought of losing her first-car putting her off, but her first car had manual pop-ups, was wedge shaped and pinto engined, so it can't be that. I want this, but practicalities are getting in the way. I also think you've got the numbers right, Bruce.
