Cavcraft
Did he really say £199? YES! MOT: 18th August! Tax: End of August! Supposedly has full service history. Dent on front wing, one wheel trim missing. That might be a lie as I think it actually has two wheel trims missing. No power steering. Seems to run great, it was driven to mine from about 18 miles away by former owner. I'll have a poke round it later, I've only driven it a matter of yards so far. £199 of your earth pounds takes it away from Chester, I'd appreciate it going sooner rather than later. Usual 'rules' apply, I'd be willing to discuss a long term Autoshite forum member taking it now and paying later (within reason, i.e not six months or something) if they want to. Cavcraft
Whoops, couple of upside down pictures, soz. 83,000 miles.Engine bay unbelievably clean.Starts first time and seems to run and drive fine. Handbook and loads of old MOT certs.Seems quite solid round the sills. Handbrake lever sits high. The odd rust mark.Interior dirty.Dent in wing. Two missing horrible anyway wheel trims. Looking round it, it really doesn't seem a bad little car at all and despite short MOT I reckon it's very good value. I won't have time this week but if it's still here after that I'm happy to take it to any garage in Chester somebody wants to nominate and take it for an MOT at your cost. Can't be fairer than that I think.

KruJoe
It'd look better if you took those two trims off and kept them for the next Vauxhall to be saved.(I say 'better', that's a bit strong, but you know what I mean.) Lord Sterling
Agreed, those are (or at least supposed to be) Vauxhall wheel trims. I've got some Ford ones stashed away somewhere.
Parky
It's a Ford and its getting on a bit - perfect investment opportunity as in 20 years it will be worth eleventy gazillion zlotys for OMGRETROFORDDRIFTNINETIESLOOK. Cavcraft
has its trunions been well lubricated? Yes, with Castrol's finest 8W/27 Fanny Batter. Cartakeback have just offered me £120 for it, and hopefully it's the wankers who offered me money for the Focus, then changed their mind as I'll have the battery and cat off it first. Cavcraft
Some genuine Facebook questions about it: (I said I'd deliver within 10 miles and no more for £10, as long as car paid for up front. Will you deliver to (place about 25 miles away)? No I'll pay you when you get here. No. I'll have it next Friday if you do. No. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are the tax and MOT 2015? I just ignored that so he asked me again by private message. I've ignored that, too. Cavcraft
Back to the LCD (Lowest Common Denominator) again, methinks. Cheap cars attract cheap people who only have what the asking price is and nothing else, probably including insurance. I'm just tight enough to try and hang out for the extra £20/£30 more than the scrappy have offered.
Partridge
Cavette, I'll do you a special deal: you drive the car down south to me, and I will pay you £50, up front. I will throw in a return trip on the bus that gets you to the train station. Quite frankly, that's the best offer anyone will make, or that its worth and frankly M8 UR WASTING MY FACEBOUK TIME anyway so I will be offended if you say no.
