Eye-catching black and whites

Here you go. The Fiat 500 in the last post still exists! (but in now red & has a matching trailer!), the custom Firenza droop snoot belonged to a racing driver at the time & allegedly still exists, despite not being taxed in over 40 years!

I`ve been checking 100`s of plates on this website in the last month to find out the average lifespan of the motors back in the day (its very addictive, I`ve wasted wayyy too much time on it), I`ve only found a few that still exist.

I`ve saved 1000`s of pics, I wont flood them on here though.

That picture is strange, all the trucks are Ford AA or Gaz AA and some seem to be fire damaged. So since the Gaz AA was one of the main vehicles of the Red Army is the photo taken on the Eastern Front during WW2?

Edit

At the top of the right corner there are soldiers I think. And in the top left corner there is one that looks like a Studebaker US6 and possibly a tank so I guess the picture was taken during or after WW2. Most likely this is a gathering area for damaged vehicles.

I’m only seeing Ford/GAZ AA types. Might it be taken on the Finnish front in 1939/40?  The Sovs got a bit of a kicking when they invaded a small neighbour with their poorly led conscript army. I’m sure that wouldn’t happen now….

It could be Finland, but we probably won't know. But is an incredible picture, I have never seen anything like it.

Is it marked with the red arrow what I think is a Studebaker as the shape is similar but I could be wrong. And the blue arrow is what I think looks like a tank but again I could be wrong.

Thanks a lot, it's nice to get an answer to that picture. Your search skills are better than mine.
