Are we ready for another tour of that there London, before the gents gentrified it? This time those likely lads, Bobby and Billy are going to show us around...

The Borough of Brent. Are we ready lads? Better fill that pouch up with stones, I've a feeling there may be some water to throw them in later. Lets stop here to pick some up -

Notting Hill, the 1970's. Did the 'No Demolition' sign work? You decide. Right we've got the stones, let's go.

Limehouse Basin. Splash.

The Isle of Dogs. Splosh, splish. We've run out of stones, better get some more, lets go to a bit of rough land I know, but avoid the toughs at Piccadilly Circus.

Piccadilly Circus, 1980.

Phew we avoided the hard cases. Here we go,  Millwall Docks, pick up some more stones lads, lets go back to the water and throw them in.

Westferry, then back to Limehouse Basin. Plish, plash, plosh. Now wasn't that fun? Come down from the bridge, it's home time now, cheerio Bobby and Billy.

Superb images from when London was interesting, it’s a dull place now though....

Sweden I think.  Splendid Rover P4

001.jpg

This is the old bridge between Sweden and Norway taken when Sweden still drove on the left. Norway already / always drove on the wrong side of the road. The picture must be taken from the Swedish side and the bridge must follow Norwegian traffic rules. The dark square looks to have been the crossover point.

Petrol station, Kiev, Ukraine,  built in 1979. Described as 'Japanese type design', I would suggest 'Mars type design'. It's still there, watch your eyes, not B&W, rather boringly the dangling filling pipes have been replaced by normal pumps, H&S gone mad.

CBA to look up the exact date we hired Sheffield Transport 1012 (Weymann Fanfare bodied Leyland Leopard - in the middle of the picture) but it's probably 1970ish. The old Norfolk Arms, Manchester Road, Sheffield (A57 Snake Pass).

Clement Royds Street Rochdale, 1994. Spot the nervous Mini owner 'keep that ball away from my car lads', whose car isn't on the Vehicle Enquiry website.

Tried again and it worked for me. Perhaps I had phat phingers the phirst time I tried?

yeah I checked it out because by 1994, it would have well and truly been on the DVLA computer

so I was curious to see what was going on, because a car never actually drops off the DVLA computer once its on there, regardless of what the public facing 1st party tool tells you!
