NorfolkNWeigh
An actual 4 door Cortina Lotus, I never knew such a thing existed. Edited to add: apparently nthere were at least 4 - 2 with Anglia Police , that both survive and have been restored. 2 with Thanes Valley, neither survive. This is one of them and had hit a wall near Thame . There were rumours odpf another pair with a Welsh force, but no records exist of them. It looks 10 years newer than anything else, even if it was introduced at the same time as the Mk2 Cortina. Also I’d forgotten about those Ever Ready Commer WalkThru’s, those and the little Karrier box vans were a common sight for years on every High Street, I wonder how much weight they started the day off with. lesapandre

Supposedly Henry Ford wanted to build his first European plant in Ireland for sentimental reasons as his ancestors were from there, but I imagine found Trafford Park had better infrastructure for such an operation.
