Right, this works week-in-hand.  At this point I'll pick one from the above list to complete by Friday the 27th of March and you can start making fresh suggestions for the next piece.  Hopefully that makes sense.

I won't reveal what I've picked until the artwork is released.  We all like a bit of suspense.  Of the ten suggestions made there aren't any I don't want to draw so I might have to get a bit creative in my decision making process.

Posted

I still couldn't make a decision so I rolled a ten sided die and have gone with that.  You'll see what the die chose on Friday.  in the meantime, feel free to suggest away for the next round.

What about a Bricklin sv-1 in the colour they did them in that was similar to BL baby shit browm

I rolled a die and the die said FOUR.

Original watercolour available for £50 including P&P

Since there was only one suggestion over the course of the past week I'll be working on a Bricklin SV-1 over the course of this week while you all make new suggestions.  At least I don't have to make a tough decision this time!

Oops. Sorry. This isn't Jim'll Paint It is it?

I'll put you down for 'fierce Fiat 500 Gamine'.

Cor, some lovely suggestions this week.  I've just finished the Bricklin picture but as per the rules I've instated I can't share that until Friday.

You've still got a couple of days to get those suggestions in before I pick a winner and get the next week rolling.

Update time.  That means I'll collate the suggestions from last week and am open to new suggestions for next week from this point on.  There's two very strong contenders for me from the recent batch, probably decide it on my mood at sketch time.

For the last round, the only suggestion was the Bricklin SV-1 which made deciding fabulously easy.  Here's the end result and the original can be yours for only £40 inc. P&P.

Interestingly, the people that asked me what I was working on that had never heard of a Bricklin were unanimously of the opinion that it was a seriously cool looking car.  This is probably the only example of a car designed to be safe being attractive.

Previous rounds choices for me to choose from:

> Fiat 500 Gamine

> Citroen 2CV, open with angry woman inside

> Panhard 24CT

> 1938 Lincoln Zephyr drop top

> Cadillac Cimarron

The only example of a car designed to be safe, being attractive ?

I can see a Caledonian backlash looming.

Seating as it is Good Friday what about the Bunny Buick. The terrifying Easter related aberration.

You'll have to elaborate, Google is making me none the wiser.

Congratulations, you've found a vehicle I don't want to draw at all.  That's no mean feat!

I'm very glad I didn't see that as a child. Even now I am slightly worried about nightmares tonight.

(BTW I'm loving the artwork, once I work out something I will send you a DM for a commission if that is ok).

That Bricklin is fabulous. About the safety thing, was that not put about when they realised it was going to be a bit slow and pants? Sure Delorean coined tried the same thing with "Ethical sports car" when it turned out the US emissions version of the DM-12 was going to be hopeless.

DM away when you're ready, CtP.

Hahaha,  DeLorean and ethical in the same sentence.

That rabbit ðŸÂ° car reminds me of 'the Easter bunny hates you' off YouTube

i'd be cheeky an suggest my metro.

but its white..... an god knows how that would turn out.

I've drawn 2 white Metros by commission in the past, so it should turn out pretty good, the scanner won't think so but the scanner is a liar.

I'll put you down for Metro as a suggestion.  It saves me from just having that Buick Bunny thing as the only option!

Wasn't sure you were open for suggestions again.

In that case I'd like to see a Tatra 603.

Every Friday a new list begins.  Really, people can suggest continuously  and I'll cut off which list they go on based on which side of the art update they fall.  If a week has no suggestions I go to a previous week's suggestions to pick an item.  If I can't meet a deadline (commission work sometimes gets quite numerous)  I roll suggestions over until I can.  And so it continues until it becomes massive or meets a natural end.  It's a really simple system but sounds really complicated when I try and explain it.

10th April Update (the next piece of artwork)

> Fiat 500 Gamine

> Citroen 2CV, open with angry woman inside

> Panhard 24CT

> 1938 Lincoln Zephyr drop top

> Cadillac Cimarron

17th April Update (the one I'm taking suggestions for now)

> Bunny Buick (my eyes!)

> White Metro

> Tatra 603

So people can continue suggestions whatever they want and I'll add it to the appropriate list as we go.
