Conrad D. Conelrad
Tasteful clock: Purchased from the USA, cost approx $250 plus $100 shipping Bargain, although a couple of the Amazon reviews complain that it is very plastic-y and cheap feeling. This clock has never been used as a clock (not switched on) it has just sat looking pretty on a shelf Why would you spend £275 importing a clock and then never put batteries in it? Bidding's quite healthy though, so maybe he'll get the last laugh. Plus, it won't be in his house anymore so it's a win anyway. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chevy-Bel-Air-Cuckoo-Clock/292850427200 pshome, Squire_Dawson, Lacquer Peel and 2 others
cort1977
I saw that advertised in a US magazine and had a good laugh. Only topped by one I saw yesterday for a fucking Corvette ring and bracelet set. It's a tax on stupidity, it really is: https://www.bradfordexchange.com/products/121836001_corvette-the-legend-mens-ring.html Tamworthbay

PhilA
Do those (not exactly THAT one) robo-vacs work? Always wondered.Yes, until they get the wheel axles full of hair and encounter something wet. You might as well then sit on the floor and scoot along on your arse in a few random lines to complete the job. You could always get the vacuum thing above, clip it to a battery and use that to push the dust particles along the floor with. Supernaut
I just noticed they've got it on the exhausts of the first car (whatever it is, Alfa maybe?). I wonder how long that'll last before it peels off from the heat.

Stanky
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/343641359562472 I had one of these on my Nissan Almera for a bit, I found it by the local pedestrian crossing while dropping my daughter to school one day, clearly having fallen off of a chav-mobile. I took it home (because Trebus), cleaned it up and fitted it to my car. It stayed on for about a year and ~25k miles before falling off somewhere, not sure where, just one day it was no longer attached. I like to think it was a bit like the wandering shop in Discworld and was found by another person who did the same as me and the process repeated forever. More likely it was crushed by a truck on the A31. Squire_Dawson, mercrocker, robinmasters and 2 others

mercrocker
Well, it looks to me suspiciously like the thing we used to throw used paper towels into in the school bogs c.1968.
