spike60
"TV Function" Does the TV even work in them any more?I think you can get the motoring version of a digi box for them . E39's are between 'good' cars and classics at the moment, merely old so not worth a lot. dugong
Parky
LOL at the shill bidding. Now £2000BIN, £1600 start with reserve.I get the feeling there'll be a £1800 reserve.Went for £1850. Love how he mentions most of the odds were declared for insurance purposes but also mentions how it is still registered as a 1.2..... So that's most of the mods declared apart from the fact it has a larger tuned engine. Should be ok, as long as you have declared the "custom" interior you'll be fine mate.... cobblers
You can declare modifications to your insurers without telling the DVLA. I've swapped probably a dozen engines on my cars and not once bothered to let Swansea know. There's no point. Urko

E39's are between 'good' cars and classics at the moment, merely old so not worth a lot.A customer of mine has had an 03 plate 530d auto from new . It's a black Sport, but he had the interior swapped with an SE leather by the dealer before delivery- perfect spec for my fat arse. It's done 85,000 with full main dealer history, last service was £1700!!He asked what they'd give him for it against a new M4 last month- the reply £1700! Every time I see him I remind him to give me first refusal, but he reckons he'll keep it for another year or so, to save the M4 and X6 from the station car park. Yes, my X1/9 recently threaded needed a bit of recommissioning despite having a full service history and one owner. The problem was lack of use. NorfolkNWeigh
I'm not sure if this should be here or not £15,000 is a helluva lot of money for a Sud, it's probably the best one in the country but for that sort of money I'd want an early saloon or estate not one of these. By 1984 , with all the plastic shit thrown at them and black trim it must have been hard work for Alfa dealers to tempt buyers away from XR3i s and GTE/I s .http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/188719/chic-ultra-rare-alfasud-pe1 mouseflakes, Sudsprint, For Fiats Sake and 1 other
