CIH
I'd love an mkl5 16v LX in two tone. I have no idea why.

Cavcraft
Looking at that picture Pete-M has beaten us to it! This seller has a few expensive items for sale usually but to be fair he seems to get some bloody nice stuff in. He usually has some very nice Lambrettas in including this one... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2008-A-Lambretta- ... 3cb50a0de6 ...which is quite expensive for an Li but I'd roll it no problem. Angrydicky
Bloody Nora! It's gorgeous and I'm probably the biggest champion of old Austins here, but TWENTY-FOUR LARGE? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1951-Austin-A70-H ... 45fadf9cfd

Other ebay items include a '2000 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate 240 Metalic Silver' @ £2,750 and a couple of ridiculously overpriced Audis!

morris_ital_lover
The Hereford is bound to attract Austin nutter types, afterall when was the last time you saw a Hereford let alone Hereford pick-up! That said, 24 large is a little excessice. m0rris

AeroNautiCal
Funny how the seller of the 'Trickett Style' Mini omits to mention that the original designer, Neville Trickett, is still in business, creating Original Trickett conversions...
Barrett.in.the.USA
Neville Trickett only converted one estate car - This is was built as a tribute to that missing car Yep. Except that car has since been found in sound original condition and is awaiting a restoration. That might be worth 8 large in its present condition, but not a rep. I reckon the MiniSprints look ace though and he's clearly done a ton of work on it

Takes two people to get the bidding that high, so the interest certainly seems to be there. Still seems a lot of money to me!

BrianDamaged
Hi Brian! What happened to the Escrot in the end? Scrapped by now I suspect. Viscount Basingstoke got a train up from London in about June 2008, pressed some folding into my hand and bombed off back to Sarf London in it. A few weeks later his sister commandeered it and used it for a holiday in Cornwall, that's the last I heard of it. I had some memorable drives in that, including a flat-out early morning cross-country blast from mine to Santa Pod (85 miles in 75 minutes) and a 360-degree 80mph aquaplane on the M40 near High Wycombe on my way back from the Ace Cafe without hitting anything. Miraculous little beastie for a 1300 HCS.

AeroNautiCal
That Snap On lot looks to be a very good deal! Quite a fascinating variety and quantity of 'Tools on offer. autohausdolby
Those passats are really quite nice to sit in. Never drove one but ive fixed a few. Red hammerited steels and scruffy whitewall flaps on any 90s VW are a more certain prediction of impending bean can syndrome than white smoke on an S reg rover 400 with a big scrope all down the passenger side. Never was a truer word spoken.
