Yes, you are very very pretty and have low-ish mileage, but you also have a shagged, impossible to get front bumper.

I wonder if it has climate control?

This is quite special...44hp, 1.2 8v, absolute poverty spec, £5000.

I bloody love it, obvs.

Yes that's a high price - but one day it will command such. This will be the next "Morris Minor" - I see more nova's than early poverty spec Corsa B's. I love it too.

They didn't? I had one - sold it a couple of years ago. Absolutely no interest in it from buyers at any price. It was quite nice but not an outstanding steer. Virtually unsellable as far as my experience, the one I had was in good nick.  You'd wait a long time to see these sell - who would be the person with £5-8000 in their pocket and wanting one? Beats me.

A more real world price one on Ebay:

But even at that price sales may be hard work. No idea what spares are like on these but a bit difficult I would guess.

If you're gunna do it make up a spoof history about a one of prototype to wind the armchair experts up.

I know of a couple of cars that have been done like that, that are hilarious to evaesdrop at onlookers telling others they've heard all about the said vehicle.

25 years ago there used to be metallic green Chevette coupe driving around in Milton Keynes. It really looked the part, even the interior was Vauxhall tartan GLtype trim. I mentioned it once to a friend, wondering if tit was some sort of prototype that escaped the factory ( we’re only 20 miles from Luton).

He laughed and said the bloke that owned it told everybody that’s exactly what it was, but he’d made it himself out of a Kadett and rear ended Chevette, apparently the rear seat on the coupe is identical to a 2 door saloon.

That’s amazing but the one person in the country who will have a big enough hard on for it ( @Cavcraft ) probably hasn’t paid £5000 for any car ever never mind this :D

I bought my mx5 from this chap ten years ago and he was great - the most reasonable and least salesman-y person I've ever bought a car from. Unfortunately it seems that I probably won't be in a position to buy a car from his stocklist any time soon. But would totally recommend to someone who wants to blow £150,000 on a lancia.

Two wheels this time. Buy a £800 Diversion, take the paint off of the tank, chuch the front mud guard in the bin, wrap the headers and bung on a seat. And ask £2,500 for it

Wonder how often you will strip the skin off of your shins walking into it before the exhaust gets canned?

Hey @DavidB & @1duck both of those should have gone in the eBay Tat thread, this is mainly for massively overpriced old shit...if that Marina was £4000 not £400 it'd qualify for instance. (As it also could go in the "Just scrap it" thread)!

The "bargain" bit in the title is meant as sarcasm, and had it been written now, would have had the obligatory asterisk. ?

Keep on shitin'
