seth
A coupe of shite worthy veicles from todays Triumph day at Stoneleigh. This could have been yours for £125! "Must sell today!" rather "Must drop off at scrappy on the way home" This 2000 was chassis no 500 or so, One owner for 42 years and the second owner now selling. seth
A bit of a bumper crop coming up... First two are Mrs_Seth's in Milton Keynes, taken a couple of months apart. Just about wipped the phone out in time to catch this round the corner. Late DB/Hyde Park Corner. Bristol 401 might have made way for this Jeep? Walking along road with ickle_Seth. Exclaims "SAAAAAB!" On Friday morning I went into the depths of West London to pick up and Ebay purchase. Bloke was doing up a shop with this at the end of the Parade. There's a classic Jag specialist there too. There were seom dust covered British sports cars in a couple of the shop fronts but I couldn't really get photos. I don't know what the parades destiny is though Anyhow, I decided to take a scenic route back to the north circular through residential roads, avoiding the A40. Transit #1... being kept company by.. I kinda know this car. One owner for many years and in truly shitey condition. It is a genuine Shelby GT350 Transit #2. Shite house alert! I want to know what is in the garage! Might have to go back and take a peek. Same road, Transit #3! And a pair of Volvos to finish.

Richard
I heard a programme on Radio 4 once, in the daytime, where Stephen Fry was investigating the origins of the phrase "the dog's bollocks". The expert was explaining the difference between bollocks, which is bad, and the bollocks, which is very good indeed. You don't get that on Radio 2. seth
Some more mostly London lovelies Instead of doing a reasonably local U-turn recently I drove around the block instead. And found one of those roads full o' shite! All these up to and including the Merc coupe within about 300 yards of each other. Saw this bus twice in a day doing a school run. Didn't smell like it complied with LEZ regs so wondered if it was able to roll around unnoticed by Big Brother on small residential roads Might have spotted this Dyane before. Anyway it is MINTY A nice pair of non-scene VWs seen on the same road today. and a Mrs_Seth M1 barge spot to finish.
Spottedlaurel
Lots of flat paintwork on show. Nice update, shows that it’s always worth exploring some new route.Your hiding-round-the-corner spy-shot of Accord lady is amusing.
FredTransit
I know where this is BUT I wish I knew where that is, PM me with a location cos I have an interior waiting for it! That's either a landliner or road ranger (I get em mixed up), and may well have started life as a V6.
seth
Your hiding-round-the-corner spy-shot of Accord lady is amusing.I think Accord man was sitting in it too! seth
That place was a classic car dealers I think. I went there to pick up an ebay purchase that seemed to be being sold by someone helping develop on of the other shops in that parade. Not sure what the fate of the rest was to be. Some dusty cars inside too. Went to the Enfield Pageant today. Was a good show except that a lot of jumblers seem to have upped sticks on Sunday leaving lots of big gaps. Very annoying. Still I spent some money with those that were left including a nice British made valve spring compressor for 20p! Actually on a "10p shee"t but I doubled his takings Some show photos may be appearing elsewhere so here's some car-park spots. Actually these first two were in the jumble area for sale. I have the number if anyone wants it... Into the car park, these normally leave me fairly cold but this had something about it. Crusty Corsair krusty karmann Simca was a delight! BMC van thing as spotted by the management yesterday! Oh, I also took these of a display in the arena with you guys in mind. Bizarrely this group seemed to share space with some RR owners who were perhaps not best pleased with the association! Finally a couple of shitey spots from the journey home. seth
Some more from the last few weeks. This is much newer than my usual spot era but I couldn't think of the last time I saw a Polo estate this shape. This Consul is very local to me and as far as I know has been in the garage for a long time. Recently came outside and put up on stands minus wheels. I presume they're getting painted or something Has 27k on the clock and original clear seat covers that can be unzipped. Aha, this is more shitey. I was driving around the Victoria one way system one weekday morning and checked over my shoulder to see if there was anything next to me. There was! A Visa! Driver gave me a "classic car nod" I like your OAP Style A non-shite suprise on the walk to nursery. Have to include this as my worst spotted photo ever! Diamond shite in Hatton Garden I'll finish with this Central London Capri. I rarely take multiple spotted photos but this was class!

r.welfare
Wow. These 1301/1501s used to be all over Reading in various states of decay back in the 80s, along with many 1100s. I reckon this was down to there being a big Chrysler dealer nearby. You just don't see 'em any more. I read somewhere that some of them had a back-to-front gearchange pattern, that must have been good for a laugh.

Mr_Bo11ox
Wowz, I thought those Simca 1301/1501 jobs were totally extinct in the UK. I onder what they are like to drive?
