As I recall the VDP used to get tatty real quick as all the shiny shit on the mirrors used to fall off.Shiny shit!?, that is brushed stainless steel that is. What's with the 'w' plate - aren't the Chryslers late 70's?The Face-lifted 1980 model year Alpine didnt arrive in the showrooms until late January/February of that year and the earliest of those are on a V, there was still dealer stock of the pre face-lift well in post August, hence this late Mk1 wears a W plate.
