My mate was up for the weekend, so we decided to get some pics with my Escort and his mothers Focus. trigger Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 If funds allow, I plan to tidy up the Civic I've got and do the few odd jobs on it, enjoy it for a bit then sell it and use the funds from both to buy something more "me", whatever "me" is! The Mk3 XR3i/RS1600i has been on the bucket list for some while but to find a nice original one that hasn't been "Garyed" and thats sensible money is near impossible these days. The thing that strikes me is that in it's day the graphics on yours would have been considered a bit ott and tacky but it looks positively classy compared to the stsoo. To me. Out of interest, what was the difference (mechanically) between a 1600i and an xr3i at that time? Just to save me spending the rest of the day thumbing through my boxes of 80's What Cars in the loft to find out. Was it a limited edition?
