mercrocker
Wish I had got out of bed in time to go now....Epic stuff spotted and posted. Glad you included Brooklands own chod too. I always want to write GLE alongside the BEA on that HA van. Even though its not one. Very much liking the New Yorker and that Borgward - phwoarrr. Would take the 164 home too but I would have to sort those wheels out. That SR500 flat-tracker thing is giving me bike horn again. But why would anybody want a Minor with TWO leaking boots? inconsistant

Sigmund Fraud
Great stuff, thanks for sharing ! I thought of attending, but eventually decided that my 214 was far too new to turn up in. It appears that I was wrong !
jonny69
I went there too. I was quite surprised when I got charged £22 on the gate for the two of us! But it was a good day walking round the hangars, even though the missus was bored stiff and not particularly interested in anything I was. Got to say, I don't remember half the stuff you've snapped and I missed a few things I'd have liked to have seen. This is FIT:I am in this pic: Skizzer, mouseflakes and Sigmund Fraud

inconsistant
And done. Really good show, way better than I was expecting, with some really good quality underdogs. The weather looked like it had kept quite a lot of exhibitors away, and there were probably a few too many Mk2 Escorts and MGBs but that's the same everywhere. The Mini Clubman/HL estate was really nice, and generally the cars were really well kept, which much be a constant challenge given the climate up here. Top show, lovely venue, shite weather. Summary: Recommended. mouseflakes, Skizzer, Junkman and 2 others

Skizzer
Convertible GTE! Was that actually a thing? It was. Those wheels weren't, though. Shame as otherwise it looks uncommonly unf*cked. Also, haven't seen a G-plate Disco in yonks. Quality spottering.
inconsistant
Oops I deleted the pix i was going to update this thread with... two Dyanes and a Pao in one lunch time, what are the chances? Anyway, you'll have to make do with these that I spotted last week instead: Pooju 850R Ovlovely And here's some shite from a Swiss holiday last summer that I forgot about. The Swiss don't really do shite. I don't know if it's because they have stringent vehicle safety laws or because the weather and road conditions remove the chod from the automotive gene pool before it gets to the interesting stage, but over 2 weeks here's some of the best I could find, starting with an other Ovlov looking cool on the high street and on the alp: Up in the mountains most old ratty cars appear to be 4wd Subaru Justys or old utility Jap estates: And very little else of interest: ^^^I have no idea what this is. One for the cars I didn't know thread I think. Hadn't seen one of these at the time, seen a couple in the UK since, but this one is brown. THE FUTURE IS BROWN AND ELECTRICAL. Saw this where we stopped in France on the way back and liked it: Thats all. danthecapriman and mouseflakes
