Marty
Not much from the NW this time, not through lack of spotting, just lack of photography opportunities - the A plate gold montego I saw yesterday being a point in fact. Dont you just love it when this happens....
mk2_craig
Result! If I was the traffic cop called out to that one I'd find it very hard to believe the Corsa driver wasn't to blame, simply because of its modded status.
Marty
The Corsa driver was to blame, he tried to turn into the road on the right, thinking he was OK as the lights against him had turned to red - what he didnt know was the lights the other way stop on green to allow the build up of traffic coming from the city centre to flow out to the motorway without building up.Beemer pilot went through about 30 - so the corsa got off quite lightly, sadly I did not get a photo of the drivers door which was very bent and pushed back into the rear quarter pannel. The Rover lives in Preston City Ctr and the Volvo in St Annes. The B plate Mk 2 Fester was on the M6
Marty
Sadly very little, spotted a whole street full of veritable shite on Sunday in Lytham, but no camera - must have been an old giffers outing, lots of 30's tin. I also get passed by a veryy tasty A plate Nissan Z sports thingy most mornings - I need to set my camera up....

Father Ted
Because for some reason i could not log in as Marty, so after emailing the admin and getting no reply I re registered as Father Ted - and lo, I got activated the same day! Bit Like Torsten I think, who is now Torsten1001 (sounds like an oven cleaner). Since taking to the Bike and shunning the BX, photo opportunities just aint as good as they used to be. I do have a rather nice Saab to download off the phone at some point, but hence the not a lot of photos - I was going to rename the thread Teds tat, but then realised I couldn't log in to this thread to change it etc etc etc. Im happy as Ted now anyway - teh cassock is very comfortable. VWPowered
regarding the polo harliquin, its said the logbook goes by the colour of the shell (so roof and rear quarters) with four colours to choose from yellow, blue, green and red, and panels between these were swapped to make the vehicles up, when afew dealers couldnt shift them the last lot were painted the original shell colours and shifted... mk2_craig
Was reading some old Top Gear mags the other day from the time they launched the Harlequin in the mid 1990s, whoever wrote the roadtest didn't see the funny side. Cue a series of readers' letters, accompanied by photos of "harlequin" Chevettes and Mk2 Escorts...
