The remains of a long hidden 1928 BSA A28, it's believed. Was stripped for restoration 'years ago' then just sat there, until today. Sadly, that's pretty much all of what's left that I could find, bar some small-ish other bits, but there was also a fuel tank and the hand gear change lever from a 1920s Bown Villiers, plus some great other things, including what I think was the owner's own (i.e drawn by him) oil paintings. I'll stick some other photo's up later, if anyone wants to see them.

Clothings for sells!! Let me know if I'm way off price wise. I can post at cost, or take to the next FoD if anyone wants to organise an elaborate relay.

Dainese Nighthawk boots, size 10/44. Excellent condition, tiny scuff on one toe but otherwise unmarked, hardly any sole wear. £60

Dainese Bora mesh jacket, not sure how their sizing works but I'd call it a Large. 102-106cm chest apparently. Excellent condition, no damage or marks, never worn while sliding down the road at 50mph. SOLD

Richa jacket, size L, excellent condition, no marks or damage. Has zip-out quilted lining, front & rear air vents, big pockets and good adjustment. £40

That's ace!

Cheers, ace. Sadly, it doesn't run and doesn't seem to either have an ignition, or never had one. It should go if I can get a spark.

I know it well! David Jones that is, not your TL1000s

Me and the lads were on a run over the moors and stopped off for a drink there.

They had a Tls in black there as an ex-demo bike so i blagged a test ride whilst they looked over my 4 week old Sv650s.

Fell in love with the Tls,and sorted a deal where i got pretty much what I'd paid for it in px.

Runs & rides OK - did the 5 miles home on it yesterday. None of the electrics work even the headlamp which might be down to lack of battery or might be something else. I was under the impression the lights were AC and fed from the magneto, but maybe they still need the battery to be in circuit.

I'll lob a battery on it and take it from there.

Also the got the horn for what this chap has done with his.
Worst case scenario it gets a daylight only MOT when its next presented in August.

Any recommendations for Tank Pads? I have a new bike and never having such luxury before hadn't appreciated why tank pads exist and i've slightly scuffed the tank paint with my jacket zipper. I bought some Oxford 'transformer' pads which I feel won't last beyond tomorrow (at a push.)

I've just looked them up actually, those things really hold their money, yours seems keenly priced, but unfortunately outside of my budget I'm afraid.

I'm sure it won't hang about at that price anyway.
