maximalist
http://www.blocket.se/vi/14006153.htm?ca=11_sFound this 15ts, very tempted, but it is an automatic, I know nothing about Renault autoboxes, are they best avoided? The car has done about 70000 miles.

mouseflakes
[anorak_mode]The autobox in the 15/17 was the 4139, the forerunner to the 4141 in my R30. They are mechanically tough, but the control systems (laughably described as 'computers' in their time) are a little fragile. I think replacements can still be had. I rebuilt the insides of mine - replacing two blown capacitors transformed the gear changes. I think the R12 Auto also used the 4139 - and I've seen old reviews for these that were quite complimentary. They have none of the 'modern' features like lock-up so you pay the price for the lazy driving style at the fuel pumps.[/anorak_mode]
