dave j
I went to a local car show yesterday in the Beetle, the weather put off a lot of people so it was quieter than last year but a good variety. My favourite car there was a base model 205 with 12.5k on the clock that looked like it was still owned by a giffer. Sadly I didn't get a pic of that one. danthecapriman, Dyslexic Viking, CreepingJesus and 6 others

HillmanImp
Few spots from my holidays darn sarf. These were spotted in Worthing. Turns out there was a classic car show at the Rugby Club in Angmering that we missed. Imp Jr got excited to see a Smart Roadster. Then we spotted another one round the corner. These were round the corner from my mums house: Was chatting to the lad in the Citroën garage for a bit. He'd only worked there a year or so but I assume this is the chap who used to work under Broadwater Bridge in Worthing years ago? Will probably be moving again soon as its getting sold off for houses. The lad working in the garage also owned this. Then there were these dotted around the place: This car was parked down the road Hmmmm. HillmanImp
These were at Angmering Oval. Imp Jr wanted to pose with a lot of these. Sported these 2 at the services on the way home. I'm pretty sure it was here back in 'nam behind Teville Gate. Google maps is a bit out of date here. Not sure about Longlifes, what was it? High Jetter
I think they went bust in the late 80s or early 90s. Weird thing is, there's hardly any info about the chain online.

Great to finally see one on UK plates (albeit past it's prime) Well the banger track is closing soon. Might be worth ringing them to see what the owner is doing with it as they're about to lose their storage. Last MOT expired in 2016 so its not been off the road that long. Might not be as bad as it looks.
Cookiesouwest
Old boy rocked up at the pub, this lunchtime, in this. Crap pic, but gorgeous in the metal. Has one many moons ago. Think I need a visit of my own - do you know if you can enter the site at any time or just on event days? As for the Gaz, the front looks a little high to me (but might just be the angle of the photo vs uneven ground) so might not be much up front these days... And given my failure with the Lada which at least looks good from the outside I think this is probably a bit beyond my skills to save sadly! HillmanImp
I think you can probably just wander up there. Theres no gates or anything that I remember. I think its maybe a public right of way. However they've got racing on this Sunday, the week after and the first Sunday in October if you fancy popping down when a race is on. You have full access to the pits and can just wander around. 2110
fairkens
This is in nice nick apart from a poor paint on offside wing and bumper. Dodgy respray I think. Interior was spotless pale blue/grey leather. ETA - 31500 miles at last MOT. Looks genuine too from the history.
