Lazy spotters thread

On Saturday I took part in an "Unlock London" walk around  the Tower Hamlets area, which included Brick Lane. Some areas were incredibly wealthy , whereas other were desperately poor; an interesting comparison! Of the cars, the following were spotted. The Fiat was a 128 of some type and a left hooker, but not one I immediately recognised;

This camper van was in pretty good nick and was an unmolested right hand drive example:

This Morgan was really quite something!

On Sunday the Barnet Classic Car Club held a meeting at the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport, which is well worth a visit if you're in the area: https://www.whitewebbsmuseum.co.uk  I took a number of pictures of the day, which included my Daf 33 and a delightful Mark 1 Zodiac automatic.

I've never been unfortunately - kept meaning to but Covid happened!

Are you planning on going to Enfield in May? I'm hoping I can make the dates work!

Popped along to the Motorist in Sherburn today. I think it was some sort of performance gathering because there were myriad supercars and bad boy Leon FRs there but these were my faves. Featuring THAT Dodge van.

Didn’t know you could get a 2.0L Cortina Mk V. I thought the 2 litre ( Pinto?) engine was only available on GL, S and Ghia spec.

Was going to raise the same question myself. I’m pretty sure you’re correct. Guess it’s a home made upgrade, seats look like 1982 model too.

Yes, this has been modified, I believe it started off as a 1.6L with red interior if it is the car I think it is. It was rebuilt and used for the 2012 Cortina’s to Cortina run and had the 82 model grey GL seats in then, I think it has changed hands at least once since then but apart from the badge looks the same as when Jim had it.

Rover 95 looking cool amongst the Maseratis, Mercs and Porches of Notting Hill this morning.

Best colour in black with a tan interior and a shape that looks good still amongst the moderns. NH is always good for a few nice old cars.

I didn't see Hugh Grant - but somebody was discussing Nigella Lawson's new house when I had coffee...😂
