One of my uncles was an amateur rally driver but worked for BL ( in IT or whatever it was called in the 70s), and managed to blag a go in the works TR7.

Nice! I imagine it was quite lively. Almost certain that Tony 'The Moustache' Pond was behind the wheel at some point. 

That's a really good question, I wonder what BL IT dept was called? I'm going to go with 'Data Processing'.

That's a really good question, I wonder what BL IT dept was called? I'm going to go with 'Data Processing'.

My Uncle left BL and went to the States very soon afterwards, so maybe there’s a story he never told us!
