It’s a Superb , which can tow 2200kg . A 1977 W123 200 weighs 1480kg , so depending on the weight of the trailer, say 550/600 kg. Should be OK , I’d rather tow with that than some faux 4x4 softroader like a Freelander or Qashqai. We had a 2.2 Freelander 2 and it wobbled around with an MX5 on a tilt bed Brian James, next time I moved it I used my Chrysler 300C , didn’t know it was there. Both had 2 tonne capability in theory. CaptainBoom
Spotted in a local village (Knockholt). Here's an ugly blue Ford... next to a much more exciting blue Ford... I think we may have two Ford lickers living next to one another as the next picture shows... I'm not good on my older Blue Oval stuff, is that a Zephyr MK2? If so, I don't think Brian Blessed will be getting out of that. Trust me, the path was very tempting to head down to get a better picture. Then there was this, the other side of the hedge in front of the same house,.,. And finally, my errand done and I was heading back to my car, this pulled up outside the village shop. The old feller driving it popped out to get a newspaper, then hopped in again all done as if he regularly did this every Saturday morning. Austin 7? Looking incredibly small next to the Lexus thingy, in about 50 yards I had an absolute treat. 12/10 will definitely come back to Knockholt for more driveway ornaments/stuff from another age etc. TheIsleofShite, danthecapriman, puddlethumper and 5 others

quicksilver
As un-shite as it's possible to get but how's this for an in the wild spot? A 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS with a distinguished motorsport history, which was auctioned in 2016 with an estimate of £1.2 to 1.8 million! I assume it came from Bicester Heritage but it's surprising to see such a rare and valuable car on an ordinary open trailer. Google the reg UU 9125 for more on its history. puddlethumper, SteersWithThrottle, Yoss and 2 others
Zelandeth
Very nice...if it was mine it would have been being driven rather than trailered though! Assuming it wasn't on the way to have some fault rectified anyway. Worth that much or not, I'd still drive it - carefully and making sure I had a very good insurance policy in place! spartacus
Phoar! The better looking sister of the Alfa Brera. Borsuq
I've seen 2 FSO Matizes today. ? One in a museum, one in the wild. They're exceptionally rare compared to a regular Daewoo Matiz.
