Zelandeth
Sadly no photo as it was there and gone in a few seconds and there was a fence in the way - but briefly saw a Mk I Ford Fiesta XR2 today...Sounded absolutely bloody lovely.
CaptainBoom
I was on a work jolly to collect something from an industrial estate in Slade Green (one of North Kent's *premier towns). I spotted this slightly tired Stag, a group of chaps who work together own it and have been working on it for years now. They had the (original) engine running and it hadn't turned into a kettle... It sounded fruity too, the little blue Transit is our work steed, the 'Flying Ashtray', hateful, uncomfortable, hard riding, solid seated thing! Then, on the way back to work, in Crayford (another *superb town that definitely doesn't have a traffic problem) I found this little beastie, probably a little cramped to sleep in though. Thanks to @dollywobbler's Foxanne I recognised the grille shape and external door hinges a mile off. That rear door though, looks like something off an ambulance! Fast forward to Friday 31st of July, on the way back home from Sevenoaks, 'Wow' I exclaimed and I drove past this and slammed on the anchors. The kids rolled their eyes, they knew what was going to happen, they were going to be late because Dad had to stop and take pictures of some car, they were correct... Journeys take a bit longer now, and I actually carry my phone now, just in case of a spot. Saw a properly mingebag Mk1 Metro in beige in Barnes Cray, and an early Transit - I will pap those when I next have a reason to go that way. Tadhg Tiogar
That stretched CX Familiale is a faux-Loadrunner (the original Tissier Loadrunners were only ever LHD). Never really saw the point of making a long car more awkward. CaptainBoom

myglaren
That is quite spectacular, always impresses me. Haven't seen him for a couple of years. Saw these - and a third one, no photo, on a recent wander around my estate. Actually a fourth one - drove in just before I saw these two but disappeared in among the houses. Bit of a rabbit warren around here. CreepingJesus, Coprolalia, worldofceri and 2 others

Yoss
Antique fair at Kempton Park this morning. These have the perfect image for an antique fair even if the loadspace is nowhere near as good as, a Volvo. The boot floor is much too high. And this was in Guildford. The owner, a teacher who goes by the name of Phil Collins, spent a fortune having the car stretched. He has had a bit of trouble with it in recent months, mainly to do with tyres (he uses metric) and damage to a wing panel. myglaren and Shite Ron

He fitted the spare but I did wonder if it would have been possible to put one of the wheels from the middle axle on the front and drive it on five wheels as that's still one more than a normal CX has G979 NGF - 1989 Citroen CX 25TGI Loadrunner by Adam Floyd, on Flickr Three Speed, davocano, HarmonicCheeseburger and 3 others
quicksilver
I went out on the bike last night to check out an obscure part of town I hadn't been to before and stumbled on the home of that Passat I snapped on the road at the weekend. DVLA says standard 1.8 and I'm sure those wheels have been fitted since I last saw it on Saturday, when it seemed to be on standard rims. It looks like a workhorse rather than an enthusiast's car. The filler work in the driver's door is quite impressive!
SteersWithThrottle
DVLA don't always have that correct, as we know. Many a muppet has put a bigger motor in a car without notifying them, nvm that it invalidates their insurance etc. I like sleepers, but this one is positively comatose, if that's the intention. And yes, the door repair is a 3D sculpture! ?
