bramz7
Around a decade ago, I used to go to college in Basingstoke and often took photos in Morrisons car park. I used to see a tidy 405 but never bothered with a photo. Today: Amishtat
sutty2006
While on a short weekend break in Bakewell I accidentally stumbled on some sort of Saab meet. Probably the entire collection of Derbyshires Saab’s. Some cool rides. Best one, a 9000 with some sort of becauseracecar theme. Love an old 9000. worldofceri, Datsuncog and Uncle Jimmy

Yoss
I could Google this but who needs Google when we have the collective brain of Autoshite. Presumably some sort of German Ford? Catchily badged as a 15m XL 1500S.But does it have a proper name? Doesn't look like any Taunus I know but I'm no Euro Ford licker. danthecapriman
It is a Taunus. I think the later versions of these weren’t actually badged as a ‘Taunus’ though, just ‘15M’ like this one or ‘12M’ for the lower spec ones.

mrdelmonti
Spotted this a couple of days ago, still in regular use. I've not seen many 6 wheel conversions, wonder who did it. Bucketeer, mitsisigma01, LightBulbFun and 4 others
sutty2006
Probably used to be an RAF Carmichael 6x6 fire engine until it was recycled into an ice cream van. I’d buy a 99 from that. mrdelmonti

Zelandeth
What do I win? ...Plus an unnecessarily artsy photo of the instrument panel through the window from the car side of the car just because I like how it came out. No matter how dire they may be (and the one I drove and nearly bought was indeed hilariously dire - and this coming from a long time fan of Ladas), I do and always have thought personally that the Polonez is a fantastic looking car, inside and out. Kind of has that rugged almost off-roader like stance to it - from the rear at least sort of has hints of Nissan Cherry meets Matra Ranchero...almost like a crossover thirty years before they were trendy. Sadly I didn't spot the owner or I'd have seen if I could have got a couple of better interior shots. The Polonez was number one spot for me I think...but finding an actual, real Transit Clubmobil in the metal was a very close second. I wanted one when I was five...I still do. jumpingjehovahs, Yoss, UltraWomble and 10 others
Tadhg Tiogar
^^ I like the way the Polonez speedo reads all the way to 180km/h. I think the car tops out at about 140....

Steve79
Keep seeing this being driven round Bristol but never been quick enough to get a photo. Always driven by a guy in a high vis and i reckon it's his daily driver. Bit tatty but looks like most of the MOT's over the last 12 years have been clean as a whistle. Sounds lovely too as when I've seen it driven he has not been light on the load pedal! sutty2006, Yoss, vulgalour and 8 others
