I'm fairly sure I've got a toy one of 'em from when I was a kid...it was either that or an Escort van...when I'm next able to get into my grandmother's loft I'll have a look for you. brammy777
Theres a picture of my Astramax model, a seller on ebay had alot of them for sale a little while ago, they arent worth more than £15. Pretty good models, nothing special but the only one around. I doubt anyone else will ever make one.

It's the same shape as the MkV but it has the oval grille at the front.
brammy777
MKVI I think it is, not too sure! They are a whole lot rarer! Ive seen one for sale in the past year, think it went for £20ish. Its a shame AHC/Doorkey arent around anymore, they modelled some real weird ones.

I've seen it at Toyfairs,it comes on a small diorama base. Not sure who makes it though
Mr Lobster
As for the A55 with large fins, there is one . I've seen it at Toyfairs,it comes on a small diorama base. Not sure who makes it though Possibly part of the 'Route Bleue' series by Altaya. Was only issued in France and each model was a small diorama depicting a differing roadside scene. We have a couple of other of them in stock but can't (so far at least) get the rest imported at a sensible enough price. The A55 was called something like "English Tourists" and had a couple stood by the car studying a map.

Guest
This arrived today courtesy of M_LOBSTER: Cheered me up no end, and will go with my AZ 1 rather well. It even has a tonneau cover under the plinth that you swap out with the hood!

Guest
I've started to get back into the old stuff. Behold my Tekno Amazon police car. Considering what mental money even battered Tekno stuff goes for, I got this for very little off ebay: It's missing two tyres \ inserts, but I'm currently bidding on a battered Tekno P1800 (I like the symmetry) that has the same wheels and tyres. Failing that, does anyone know where I can get them new? I'm also considering a couple of Rob Eddie pieces. He's pretty much modelled Volvo's entire line up from the OV4 to the present day. I've got my eye on the P1900 (yes, 1900, not 1800) and the Philip concept car. They're utterly crazy coin for 1:43s, but I may not get another chance for a long time because of Uni plans. I dunno. I might leave it.
VWPowered
well decided to put all i learnt into a new diorama.. take crusty old box from barn.. start ruining it basic design now with a sand and pva mix painted on exterior wall.. deciding how the interior space will be split up.. tea is essential looking shite lic'o'paint to brighten it up bathroom tiles make up the showroom floor (they bang light about nicely) but i broke one getting heavy handed, wil cut another tommorrow now with abit of greenery, tarmac, rendered walls etc.. tbc..
