Hudsonpie
Loving the "night" shots with the lighting, reminds me of late nights up the yard...brilliant work! I have tried making strip lights out of clear straws clouded with matt white paint, but I could never get it right so they went in the bin. Ill just stick to a lead light or two in the garage.Heres a twenty foot ISO box as a workshop... .....and a little mock up of the container with some junk....I had a folder with some pics of a mock up of the entire layout in 1/24, about the size of a double bed, but I'm such a complete tool I think I've deleted them..... Hudsonpie
MrLobster....thanks mate just been looking ....nope fucking pictures are gone forever....I am so shat with compooters its untrue....great... means I've got to fanny about repeating the whole process, I wanted them so that when I come to finally start laying out the ground and positioning everything I would have something to refer to as the cars and trucks and buildings etc have to be in the right place to make best use of the space.... and my oldest is of school and my youngest would just love to get his hands on me models.....so I have to wait until they are out of the house. Some pics of the just started garage and some of the yard shots can be seen on SPC forum in the diorama section....have a skip....which is where my PC nearly ended up......... Spottedlaurel
I wonder if I've seen the Zodiac for sale somewhere once, seems familiar. But the FD estate is definitely a new one to me! I wonder if they build up anything like how the artwork suggests?...

Hudsonpie
I had the Cortina when I was a kid, but I cant remember much about it. Must be mega rare now as well. The older 1/32 kits fetch a bomb on EBAY.
Mash
ruddy nora they yours chap No, I wish they were! They did a Victor estate too. Here's a pic from the catalogue I've just found on the internerd... Unfortunately these kits are the reason these cars cannot be re-released like the Escort, Viva and Herald have been. This custom range used the same moulds but were modified with the arches and so on They are extremely rare.

Whats with that?...either, Chinese are selling in advance I find this with model shops who list things as in stock and then say wait... wait... wait... sadly we're out of stock and will send you the items in one month or they've fallen off the back of a chinese truck before they got to the uk market! As for airfix cars if you want a list of the 1.32 ones... here it goes off the top of my head, bear in mind that most haven't been in production for about 30 years and as a result are very hard and expensive to come buy!Vauxhall VivaVauxhall Victor EstateFord CapriFord EscortFord CortinaFord ZodiacAustin MaxiMorris MarinaMorris Mini MinorMGBMG 1100Jag E-typeAustin-Healey Frogeye spriteTriumph TR4ATriumph HeraldAston Martin DB4 (.,.THE Bond One!)VW Beetle... infact just go here http://www.onethirtysecond.co.uk/resin/ ... t_main.phpThen a long list of 1/32 vintage cars but they are not my field.m0rris
barrett
i had no idea they did so many! It's a shame they didn't re-issue the whole lot, that site says there wasn't much interest in the tin-tops when they did the herald and escrote. I bet the escrote would fly off the shelves nowdays! i built the MG, TR4, Sprite, Aston (which was very crude and looked rubbish) e-type, 250LM and beetle when i was younger, iirc those were the only ones they re-issued. I'd love to have a crack at a maxi now, these simple kits can be made to look pretty smart with a bit of effort. just seen over on OJC Mash has the maxi and Marina kits! http://oldjapanesecar.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1813&page=
