MrRegieRitmo
I've got that exact Ritmo. Not sure about the 505 but I've definitely got Norev & IXO versions of it.I'm sure that giant dollop of whipped cream behind them will come in handy for something! brammy777
Heres a better picture of the Ford shelf: I like Fords, but I have been trying to get other marques as well, but alot of them are quite neglected, like Vauxhall for example.

Hudsonpie
That Citroen garage diorama is brilliant....I'm trying to do something similar in 1/24 scale. Trouble is I have to make everything, and anything I cant get in kit form I have to scratchbuild so its taking ages.
VWPowered
i want to make something proper but not yet building up to it would like still 1/43 but a barn made with real little stones then pointed!... so a proper job.. like this but better
Hudsonpie
Jammy git...... I tried using corrugated card, but it it slightly underscaled for what I want....the barn looks absolutely brilliant, love it.
MrRegieRitmo
Trouble is I have to make everything, and anything I cant get in kit form I have to scratchbuild so its taking ages. It took me a long time to understand the concept of scratchbuilding, meaning building from scratch, not scratching something to make something But even now I can't really comprehend how you can make a model out of nothing, i.e. not based on a kit or something......I just can't get my head around it, I wouldn't know where to begin! Surely you'd need some sort of moulds or templates or something...just something to work with or from!
brammy777
Oh I have toyed with this idea of building a diorama for many months now, and its not like Im short of cardboard, living above a shop and all.I just dont know where to start, plus I need wood as well, as a cardboard piece could look a bit flimsy without a base or 'supporting wall' if you will.I could do it this summer....... possibly. Guest
Some shots of my latest mini shite. I really will have to peg the collecting back now, mainly for the sake of my bank balance and space. A pea green Lada Samara is on the way from China.I ended up going to the Toy Fair at the Reebok Stadium with Fatha_wat. Cheap entry and there was some good stuff on display, although the prices varied massively. I don't really collect rally stuff, but this IXO Citroen BX 4TC seemed canonically shite - after all I'm a fan of the underdog. I'll get myself a Simtek S951 if the price is right. This was £9 well spent. Next, a lovely blue Minichamps Ford RS 200 caught my eye. These seemed to vary in price according to stall and colour. The blues varied from £15 - 50. One seller had all three colours and was asking for £80 for a white 1:43! Madness. My blue 'un was £15. Finally got myself the Minichamps Polis Amazon Kombi I wanted. Only one store had it, and it cost me £22 for the bother. Mind you, it was better than the £30 he wanted to start with. Finally, this shop soiled-but-sound Vitesse Mitsubishi Carisma caught my eye. Really crazily detailed for a 1:43 - it has dials in the instrument binnacle, textured trim, and an opening bonnet and doors. Case is a bit knackered but responded to a clean, and the model itself is mint. All for a bargainous £4. Was looking at the Hornby APTs as well. I have one of these, it tilts and everything. Didn't realise they were worth that much.......
Mr Lobster
Looks like you did pretty well there Wat! I did think about going but couldn't really be arsed in the end. The price variations are half the problem with fairs like Reebok, you get those people selling stuff at a massively inflated price but also a few that are dumping stock and will sell at essentially cost price - £15 for your RS200 is cheaper than wholesale price on Minichamps.
