dome
Top night, great to see new faces from far and near. I drove: @Jim Bells Panda-everything the Jazz wasn't-cool looking, actual steering feel, a bit of poke. Would recommend @blackboilersuits Saab 9-5 Aero-like stepping into an old pair of shoes after my old one. A really fast old pair of shoes. Top bomber @sdkrcs Visa. Never mind Knockhill in the wet in the MR2, forget about the Locost anywhere. This is the most terrifying thing I've driven. My therapist will be sending a bill HillmanImp, aldo135, chaseracer and 5 others 3 1

Six-cylinder
It was great to attend last nights gathering, even if it was in a chauffeur driven MIni Diesel. It does make me think in the summer I should do a special trip with maybe a vote to see what car I bring! Flat4
Thank you for a pleasent evening chaps Hope you all got home safely! @blackboilersuit we owe you pudding next time! blackboilersuit
@Flat4 glad you can give the manual a good home. Here's hoping that you don't actually have to use it! Your new car was certainly in its element for the journey back last night although the continental tyres on the 9-5 were offering amazing grip so the normal Saab road positioning of "applying boost in the outside lane" could still be maintained all be it at a reduced level. big_al_granvia
thanks again for the manual mate, flat4 was in her element on the drive home, coming from cumbernauld where she was used to snow half an inch was a doddle, the scoob was welded to the road with its 4wd and good tyres... me coming from the coast where we never have snow was having kittens blackboilersuit
Split_Pin
Being in a near 200bhp car that weighs as much as a paper hankie was interesting in the snow last night. I felt like I was steering the car from the actual seat of my skegs. paulplom

Definitely the right car to bring last night Didn't realise there was snow forecast but the Volvo needs decidedly better boots than it currently has and the fun bus doesn't feel as sure-footed as my Subarus have, for some reason. It still managed Aberdeen to Ardrossan in January one winter tho but progress was considerably slower. Hopefully there will be no snow in March! aldo135

Split_Pin
Aye kind of a shame as we all had to disperse quickly, especially as the snow seemed really isolated! I was in the least appropriate car too! aldo135
