ProgRocker
At my first job in 1994 there was a woman who worked there pushing retirement age (also knew my dad from childhood). She drove a very tidy vermillion coloured W or X reg Princess. I wish I could recall the registration. Don't know what happened to the car. Richard_FM
MOC...P was a Birmingham issue of March 1976, which had several BL press cars registered in it. Cowley's SD1 from the early episodes of the Professionals was MOC229P, but had the plates retouched to MOO229R. I was also used in some episodes of the New Avengers & Return Of The Saint. Worth picking up that, sure it’d break for more than that if it turned out it had fist sized holes in the floor. Looks solid enough though. As ever it’ll probably end up getting raced as they’ll turn up with money in their hand whilst the ‘enthusiast’ is dithering over a missed oil change in 1983. beko1987 and Mr Bump 1

ProgRocker
On my Facebook feed earlier today appeared a late X reg Princess in yellow with black bits. Looked as cool as flip. I think it on a group called 18-22 series or something. (?) Iirc a 2000 ST (for Special Tuning). Was this an actual BL approved spec or just something that the owner invented? I didn’t think they had the 2000 engine but quite likely a transplant from another car. It did make me ponder...

No - that’s the snapdragon yellow car that the owner has modified to resemble his take on what a Special Tuning Princess would have been in terms of spec. Does look tasty.
