pshome
Q: which was the last car that had factory two tone paint?
NorfolkNWeigh
If too posh, Defender Station Wagons were available with contrasting upper panels( usually Sandstone?) Most ARG products of the 90's were available with a Hurricane Grey bottom half .But, to me the last proper two-to e cars were special edition Fords of the 70/80's.Sandpipers, Calypsos, Consorts, Carousels, Sapphires, Chausseurs etc etc.
artdjones
Some do now.Minis have contrast roofs as do some Renaults. The last I remember where the second colour came further down were some MK2 Granadas.

Spottedlaurel
The Cambridge Hotel, Clacton. Nice card. Wonder where that was? If the building is still there I suspect it'll be a shabby, run-down shadow of its former self. No Farina Cambridges in the photo, a poor show. Unusual plate on the Rootes-mobile, and is that a pre-DW Invacar?

Yes I think it's a AC Model 57 Invacar. There is a strong resemblance between it and the AC Petit, but note the extra windows on the Petit. No Farina Cambridges in the photo, a poor show. Unusual plate on the Rootes-mobile, and is that a pre-DW Invacar? It's opposite the Crazy Golf course on the seafront and now known as the Pink Palace... The plate on the Gazelle is a short lived 1959 Manchester issue, no trace of it on the DVLA database. pshome, Spottedlaurel and RayMK
