Junkman
Gouda. Note how bloody big those Fiat 1400s were. Same in Cologne: A lot of European 50s postcards predominantly show just cars, or car parks. I have no idea why. hennabm and RayMK

Spottedlaurel
Is that a fiat 850 coupe exiting postcard right ? Hmm, not sure. I imagined something like an early Corolla. A quick image search of the late '60s model shows that it's probably the coupe version.

Junkman
From a recent trip. That P4 is exemplary for the driving style there, that persists to this day. Always smack in the middle of the road.So the hapless Farina driver had to do what I had to do all the time, swerve onto the verge. RayMK
Junkman: Posted Today, 09:38 PM That there London, or thereabouts, I think. I think it's Whitechapel Road in 1965 but there's nothing recognisable still standing. https://www.timeout.com/london/news/in-pictures-the-east-end-as-youve-never-seen-it-before-021218 Junkman

RayMK
North Thames gas building is now the Al Rayan Bank. Block on the left has gone. 89 Whitechapel road. Well spotted! I could not recognise any buildings on Google Streetmap but you are right. I traced the location by searching for the jewellers A Taite & Sons. Some of their stuff comes up for auction occasionally and from one of the items a link showed the same photo. Junkman

MorrisItalSLX
That train is the moreton central sugar mill tramway right? Bundaberg got rid of it I think.Yes it is the Moreton central sugar mill tramway. It was closed when the sugar mill closed down in 2003 and the only remaining section is the heritage listed bit that runs through Nambour. ChinaTom
However, Attica, Ohio, appears to have no problem beating Madras, Oregon, in sheer shitholeness. That could be Hamilton Ontario today! No, next year when they clear it up and bulldoze the crack-heads into the lake Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Junkman

Spottedlaurel
These were in my pile of stuff to be scanned, seemed an appropriate time to do something with them: The Parade, Mundesley complete with 2dr Consul Classic and something a bit older further along? Sandy Gulls Caravan Park is apparently still there. The website says their touring park is for adults only, always makes me wonder what goes on at places like that..... Are the two people in the top left photo trying to break-in to that caravan? Not Mundesley, but of possible interest to our Austrian correspondent. Sent in October 1978 to an address in Letchworth with the following message: "Dear Mick & Julia, Austria is a great place! Very friendly people, beautiful scenery & steam engines! It is also B. expensive to eat and live. Hope work is going well and you are enjoying life. See ya soon. Cheers Dave." That photo pre-dates 1978 somewhat. A couple of vehicles stood out for me, the Commer truck and black Minor amongst the Beetles, Opels and Mercedes. Thoughts about the white estate in front of the Commer? Any other oddities that I've missed? Bus looks quite smart. AlabamaShrimp, RayMK and Junkman
