There’s two types, the big wide RS ones which were an option or the smaller 16’s you got in the same style on the late Zetecs. Going aside slightly anyone remember the chrome Alloys fitted to the Ghia just after the facelift? Looked fantastic for about a month until the salt caused the chrome to fall off.

The white ones on my Puma are the option wheels, they're 7 inches wide & have an ET of 35,the other type are 6 1/2 inches wide with an ET of 40.Apparently,if you put the narrower type on a Puma, you will die because the offset will completely ruin the handling 🙄.

What I really need is a set in 1/43 scale for one of my Cararama Pumas,I might have to break a Mondeo or Escort Cosworth 🤔

Attacked a couple of my K-7 Racing Car Transporters. Had this one with no tailgate and slightly tatty paint

And this boot sale refugee with better paint and a tailgate but some sort of acid damage to the load bed

If only I had more than one plastic canopy to go around

No, these bad boys

RS 7 SPOKE 17 inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels & Tyres set 4 - £1,200.00 | PicClick UK

I remember quite a few pimped-up MK1 Mondeos wearing those, along with the RS bodykits. The green Mondeo taxi I drove years ago eventually gained a set of series 1 RS Turbo 7 spokes, which looked pretty good.

Charity shop prices have gone nuts. Transporter £3.50

Local if anyone's desperate

Heh, I'm not that desperate - though the Corgi Dennis fire engine looks quite a bit better than the one I paid a fiver for, and the Matchbox Adventure 2000 hovercraft in light green would likely make back most of that £12.50 if it's as good as it appears to be...

I'm still just impressed that stuff like this shows up in charity shops near you folks, even if the staff now seem to have got wise to to their collectability. Every now and then I blitz all the charity shops in a five-mile radius, and never turn up anything more than a couple of scratched Teamz items at the bottom of a basket.

Still, despite a bit of a diecast drought in the Belfast Metropolitan Area, at least the Corgi Model Club are getting through...

It's the smaller one - do they really go for that much? Seems all a bit steep to me, if they were a few quid I'd just grab them. As I have a pretty decent blue Trainspotter in the cabinet anyway...

The smaller one was only available for the 1979 catalogue year as part of the K-2005 Adventure 2000 'Command Force', Gift Set, and I believe is fairly uncommon...

It was then changed to blue for 1980 and 1981.

I understand that both these versions of the MB2 Hovercraft are quite rare - though I guess whether they're actively sought-after and therefore worth ££££ is a different matter...

By coincidence, the Capri was my load of choice on a K-21 transporter when I last had them on display:

Matchbox had three different rigid transporters offered at the time?!

I'm thinking of making something similar, but using a cardboard box and white card to line it. Ideally it will fold up as it will take up valuable space, probably in my outhouse

Knocked up a quick prototype. Even with the crap lighting in the kitchen it's not bad
