bunglebus Posted yesterday at 22:15 Posted yesterday at 22:15 That looks really nice. I bet it's more than £9.99 though

The Pontiac looks well on those wheels. Was that the one I sent you recently? Premium just means price nowadays. sierraman, eddyramrod and danthecapriman 3

ambassador84 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Still enjoying a cheeky bit of Spanish sun as well as some more brand new Guisval. Directly from their factory dontcha know though unfortunately despite some pleasant emails with one of their "high ups" regarding their products they still aren't planning on offering international postage at this point. With distribution even in Spain remaining ever inconsistent I really think they ought to! Maybe i need to appear on Dragons Den as a potential UK Guisval distributor 😉😉😅 bunglebus, andrew e and FakeConcern 3

sierraman Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I’ve yet to ever see Guisval offered in Spain with the exception of once in a tat shop in Tenerife, where are they usually sold?

Thats the million dollar question. You can get the Rallye 1:58 series through Norauto though mine hasn't restocked in 3 weeks. Technically many tobacconist and news stands sell them as well as Repsol fuel stations though it's been a few years since ive seen any in the wild.

sierraman Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago They look diabolically made. 😂 €23 for the Fiesta, the doors don’t fit properly! Do you reckon they actually ever sell any? I can’t see them being able to compete with Mattel?
bunglebus Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Had a mooch around Braintree today, lots of newer Hot Wheels and Matchbox in the usual suspects. Picked up this Supra in a new colour Entertainer had the new Silverline set, less the '66 GTO which I'd like to find. I left the 99 GTO there, too new for me Talking of Entertainer, they are now putting concessions into Hobbycraft stores, but they will be branded Toys R Us as that name is part of the Hobbycraft group. No idea how this works or whether we'll see Entertainer or TRU prices (but I can guess...). My one opens tomorrow so I'll scope it out. In the meantime, I found something gloriously bad in a charity shop today. I've got most of the 1:64 Rainbow Toys tie-ins from the Dempsey and Makepeace TV series, but this plastic Escort Cabrio's a new one on me, it's from a 1984 stunt set and is friction powered, does wheelies etc A fun half hour was spent removing... let's say cat hairs from the rear axle Zie, danthecapriman, andrew e and 3 others 4 1 1

Some of the prices in their website shop are silly and I can't imagine anyone except hardened collectors actually buying any. Apparently many of those expensive releases are old stock found in the factory dating back to the 1980s but everything else are current productions. Their recent Reidicion series are much cheaper. Quality is hilariously poor which is probably why most big name retailers in Spain won't touch them, if they'd cast shut any opening features I think that would help immensely. Their Rallye products are 2.99 Euros on average which is actually a pretty good price considering Hot Wheels and Matchbox can often cost over 2 Euros and they are mass produced in the Far East. Their survival continues to baffle yet im glad they do 😀😀 andrew e 1

bunglebus Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Looking at Civics (as you do), I noticed the new mainline Is painted to match the older Boulevard premium And the new Matchbox Looks remarkably like the Hot Wheels without the decals ambassador84 1
danthecapriman Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Road surface paint stuff has dried on my little(ish!) diorama. Loads to do on it still of course but that texture paint stuff took ages to dry. Pavements, curbs and road markings next. And probably a bit of weathering to the road itself too. FakeConcern, bunglebus, eddyramrod and 2 others 5

Datsuncog Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Happened to be back in Tesco today - a few more examples of the Silver Series Pontiacs had been added to the pegs, but neither the '66 GTO nor the '70 GTO Judge were to be seen. This is what's available (theoretically): Also swung past my local Home Bargains; Hot Wheels A Cases were in, and I was tempted by that purple Treasure Hunt GTX - but I've quite a few of that casting already, so I left it. Poundstretcher have lots of NEW Matchbox: Well, new in 2023. Bless. Still, someone had made the effort of putting each separate model on its own peg, so there was no need to riffle through them. Points for effort! ambassador84 and eddyramrod 1 1
